The Walking Dead
The Walking Dead appears on nearly every list of “programs people should watch before they die and turn into zombies.” With nine highly-rated seasons, this show is credited with creating the zombie genre as well-known as it is today. The TV series follows Clary Fairchild, who realizes she is part of a long-lost line of Shadowhunters and is intended to safeguard the world from terrible supernatural demons and entities. It runs from 2016 to 2019. Even if fundamentalists may not notice the humor, Lucifer’s perspective on this biblical figure appeals to audiences.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
Kiernan Shipka plays Sabrina Spellman in this Netflix original series, which is based on the Archie Comics ‘Sabrina the Teenage Witch.’ She is a half-human, half-witch who fights the evil powers that are continuously assaulting her and her family. Sabrina’s plot is best described as a coming-of-age story about a teenage girl who is thrust into a world rife with supernatural themes. Sabrina has connections to the worlds of witches, wizards, and dark magic, but she also values her human nature because she has many friends in the human realm. Despite her best efforts to preserve a balance between the different worlds, dealing with supernatural entities that seek to harm humanity can be difficult at times. Kiernan Shipka is fantastic as Sabrina, and her work in this series has cemented her place as a global celebrity.
