The emotion of hate can be defined in diverse ways…. Both positive and negative. As human beings, it’s completely normal to hate somebody. Doing so doesn’t only mean you dislike someone rude to you, it can also be you, hating a person whose vibe or actions are not of your or society’s liking. You wouldn’t agree with their methods and think if it were someone else, the output could be to your liking. Voicing your opinions and criticising others is not something you should be ashamed of, it’s your right. But there are limitations to everything. Hate is acceptable, as long as one doesn’t go too far with it. Hurting someone, verbally attacking or abusing someone, targeting someone using unlawful methods or manipulating someone to do the same, etc, in the name of hate is not justified. Doing any of this or more can be considered a crime and inhumane. One shouldn’t hate cloud their humanity. On the same note, here’s a list of people who are hated the most in society, and the reason why they deserve the hate.
Martin Shkreli
Martin Shkreli was born on 17th March 1983, in Brooklyn. His parents were immigrants. He was the founder of Turing Pharmaceuticals and brought the rights to Daraprim, a treatment really important to AIDS patients and people with weaker immune systems. He raised the price of a single Daraprim pill from $13.50 to $750! a 5,000% increase. Getting their hands on this pill was a matter of life or death for some people who weren’t rich enough to buy it. This resulted in public outrage and people hated him to the point he was dubbed the most hated man in America. He was arrested in December 2018 for committing security fraud and lying to the shareholders, which resulted in him getting a sentence of seven years in prison. He was banned from the pharmaceutical industry.
Ted Bundy
Theodore Robert Bundy (Ted Bundy) was born on 24th November 1946 and died on 24th January 1989. He was an Assistant Director of the Seattle Crime Prevention Advisory Commission. He was good looking and educated on the surface, but what people later came to know was, that this person was a monstrous serial killer. Ted preyed on girls who were in their late teens or early twenties. He did unspeakable things to corpses for days! His victim list consisted of 20 confirmed, 30 confessed and 36 + suspected cases. He would pretend to be injured and ask them for help, kidnap them and kill them after satisfying his desires.
Jared Fogle
Jared Fogle was born in August 1977, in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. He was an endorser for Subway at age 22 as he was a popular weight-loss sensation after losing 245 pounds. A few years later, in 2004, he established a non-profit organization to provide education for kids. He used to visit the schools and share talks. In 2015, he and Rusell Taylor were investigated for illegal possession of child pornography. Jarred was found guilty of possessing the illegally recorded tapes. He also travelled to a different state to have commercial sex with a minor. He was given a 15-year sentence in prison. The shock was too big for the public, and it resulted in him being one of the names on that list.
Bill Cosby
Bill Cosby was born on 12th July 1937, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. He was a popular American stand-up comedian and an icon to many. He created scholarships for children and was doing well even if there were comments from the people with whom he temporarily used to work because of his rude behaviour. In 2018, he was convicted of aggravated assault but was cleared by the supreme court. He has been accused of sexual misconduct, child sexual abuse, and drug-facilitated sexual assault by approximately 60 women who took up the courage to speak against injustice. Bill Cosby was affected gravely by this incident. He had lost the favour of several fans, institutions, colleges, universities and broadcast networks who refused to help him.

Kim Jong Un
Kim Jong Un was born on 8 January 1984, in Wonsan, North Korea. He became one of the youngest rulers at age 34, the third ruler since 1950. He is infamous for his cruel deeds. He traps his citizens and tortures them with inhumane rules like the three-generation rule, where your mistakes will lead your next 2 generations to suffer with you, banned from using an illegal press, leaving the country requires a lot more paperwork and is almost always denied.
Harvey Weinstein
Harvey Weinsted was born on 19 March 1952, in Flushing, New York, United States. He was the co-founder and co-chairman of Miramax Films and the Weinstein company. On October 17, multiple assault and harassment allegations were reported against Harvey. He was fired by the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and an investigation was started. In 2018, he was charged with rape and other crimes. He pleaded not guilty to all the charges before and after. He was found guilty of sexual assault and rape after he lost his trial in January 2020 and was sentenced to 23 years in prison.
Xi Jinping
Xi Jinping was born on 15 June 1953, in Beijing, China. He has been the president of the People’s Republic of China since 2013. He was trained from his teenage years to become a ruler. He’s putting pressure on Hong Kong, Tibet and Taiwan to stay a part of the countries’ borders when they are clearly against it. He was criticised over his handling during the Covid-19 pandemic and its spread, whose impact could’ve been reduced.

Jake Paul is a professional boxer and a social media celebrity. He was born on 17th January 1997, in Cleveland, Ohio, United States. He started posting his videos in September 2013 on Vines, which was later abandoned by Twitter. He launched his YouTube channel on May 15, 2014. His content was about pranks, controversies and his rap music. Paul has always been notorious for his various controversies, major ones being when he posted age-inappropriate material on YouTube, for his fans who are mostly minors, his aggressive behaviour which caused problems for many, performing risky stunts, disturbing his neighbour with loud music and illegal assembly without following the covid protection guidelines in 2020.

He used to receive various death threats from anti-fans for which he left the country in 2016, and took a break in 2017. He made a comeback in 2020 with his song ‘Farishta’, which didn’t disappoint his viewer records. Taher Shah is known for his songs as they are cringe-worthy and have large meme pages, waiting for him to drop his next, so they can prey on his songs for their content. He is a VIP celeb among millennials who can’t wait to troll him.

Kayne West Or Ye is a popular American rapper, entrepreneur, fashion designer and record producer. He was born on 8th June 1977, in Atlantia, Georgia, United States. He was the ex-husband of Kim Kardashian, a popular businesswoman. Kayne is widely known for his unfiltered comments, which usually get him into trouble. He once took the mic from Taylor Swift, when she was awarded the best female video award at the MTV Music Awards in 2009, and said Beyonce was better deserving of the title if compared to her. This brought him an immense amount of hate as this public stunt was way out of line. He apologised afterwards but constantly had bad blood with Taylor after the incident, who was nice enough to accept his apology.

Justin Bieber is a Canadian singer and songwriter. He was born on 1st March 1994, in London, Canada. Although Justin Bieber is overflowing with talent, he is still on this list for his offending comments and deeds. He was arrested for drag racing while under the influence in Miami in 2014. While he was on a tour in Toronto in 2013, he looked out of his window and found a huge number of his supporters. He spits at them! He was included in many such acts and never apologised for them. He is infamous for being extremely arrogant and egoistic. He is extremely rude to his fans. He also receives a lot of hate for his actions during his relationship with Selena Gomez. Being exhausted by attending to all the people you come across daily as a celebrity might be exhausting, but that is no reason justified to be disrespectful towards them.
Vladimir Putin
Vladimir Puttin was born on 7th October 1952, in Saint Petersburg, Russia. His mismanagement affected Russia with reduced foreign investment. He received a lot of hate after arresting a protester and releasing the footage online to scare the citizens. He raged a war on Ukraine creating hundreds of innocent victims. Many are worried that Ukraine is not the last but a stepping stone to Russia’s dominance.
Amber Heard
Amber Heard is an American actress born on 27th April 1986, in Austin, Texas, United States. She is popularly known for her role in Aquaman. Amber is also popular as Johnny Depp’s ex-wife, who accused him of domestic violence under the influence of alcohol and drugs. This went badly for her after the story turned out to be otherwise, where Amber was the one assaulting him and is even accused of falsifying the injuries, which she claimed were due to Depp’s assault. The public response is against Amber for playing the victim.

Ethan Couch was born on 11th April 1997, in Texas, United States. He was a young boy in his mid-teens, when he drove past a group of people under the influence, while over the speed limit. This stunt to impress a few of his friends resulted in a total of 13 victims, 4 dead and 9 severely injured. He has no remorse for his deed and was sentenced to 10 years of probation in December 2013, and had to undergo rehabilitation therapy. The public was outraged by the court’s lenient decision, and although with no proof, though his wealthy family played a big role in the decision which only added fuel to the fire.

Daniel Hernandez or 6ix9ine is an American rapper. He was born on 8th May 1996. Daniel was popular ever since his debut song, Gummo. His following songs and collabs also gained huge success. Daniel was charged with a felony for physically interacting with a minor in his music video and distributing it. In February 2019, he pled guilty to planning a murder. He has actively been involved in weapons and drug racketeering. He physically and sexually assaulted his ex-girlfriend(his daughter’s mother). All of these incidents led him to be on this list.
Adrian Peterson (NFL Star)
Adrian Peterson was born on 21st March 1985, in Texas, United States. He is an American football player. He became viral due to his violence against his 4-year old son. He used a wooden branch to hit his son on his back, buttocks, genitals, ankle and legs. He said the incident was his way of disciplining the kids. Peterson was fined $4000, put on probation and had to complete 80 hours of community service.

Chris Brown was born on 5th May 1989, in Virginia, United States. He is a popular American singer, songwriter, dancer and graffiti artist. On 25th August, he received 5 years of probation, one year of domestic violence counselling and 6 months of community service along with a 5-year restraining order. He is also famous for being involved in fights with other celebrities.

Ellem De Generes was born on 26th January 1958, in Louisiana, United States. She is an American writer, actor, comedian, host and producer. She is popularly known for a talk show which came to an end in 2022. Ellen has been well known for being nice, funny and entertaining ever since her debut. But after a few successful years of her career as a host, artists who visited her show as guests started hinting at her actual personality towards them. This became a hot topic as fans noticed it too. Her questions were mostly inappropriate and private. She didn’t research well on her guests and made it obvious at times. For all these reasons, she has been on fire for quite some time now.

She became the focus of public attention when she defied the rules of the U.S federal court and refused to issue marriage certificates to same-sex couples. Davis opposed same-sex marriage influenced of her religious beliefs, and avoided issuing marriage licenses to all couples, so she could avoid accepting same-sex marriage licenses. The U.S district court ordered her to start issuing licences as people filed a suit against her. She went to the US Supreme Court, but the application was denied. Still, she defied the court by not issuing the marriage. She was jailed for contempt of court. She was released after 5 days on the promise that she wouldn’t interfere with the issuing of marriage.
Robin Thicke
Robin Thicke is an American-Canadian singer, songwriter and producer born on 10th March 1977, in Los Angeles, California, United States. He gained popularity through his song ‘Blurred Lines. In 2013, Robin Thicke performed alongside Miley Cyrus during the MTV Video Music Awards, performing Blurred Lines and We Can’t Stop. Miley twerked beside him, which caused an uproar for being inappropriate and both the artists received a lot of hate. Mavin Gaye, a singer, sued Thicke for plagiarising his song ‘Got To Give Up’ and won the suit. Turns out, that Blurred Lines was plagiarised. In October 2021, Ratajkowski’s book ‘My Body’, was leaked and some parts talked about the sexual assault the model faced during the Blurred Lines Music video. The assaulter was Thicke, who hasn’t responded to the news.
