Brooklyn Nine-Nine is an American police comedy series that aired on Fox and later on NBC. The show aired from September 17, 2013, to September 16, 2021, in a total of eight seasons and 153 episodes. Created by Michael Schur and Dan Goor, it revolves around New York Police Department (NYPD) detective Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) in Brooklyn’s 99th District. Device (Andre Braugher). The rest of the cast includes Stephanie Beatriz of Rosa Diaz, Terry Crews of Terry Jeffers, Melissa Fumero of Amy Santiago, Joel Lo Trulio of Charles Boyle, and Chelsea Peretti of Gina Linetti, and Michael. -Consists of Hitchcock’s Dirk Blocker and Nome Scully’s Joel McKinnon Miller. Produced as a single-camera comedy, Fox ordered 13 episodes in the first season and eventually expanded to 22 episodes. Brooklyn Nine-Nine premiered on September 17, 2013. On May 10, 2018, after five seasons Fox cancelled the series. The next day, NBC picked it up for the sixth season, which premiered on January 10, 2019. The 7th season premiered in February 2020. The eighth and final 10-episode season premiered on August 12, 2021.
The series was praised by critics. The first season won the Golden Globe Award for Best TV Series-Musical or Comedy, and the same night Samberg won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor-TV Series Musical or Comedy. Brauer has been nominated four times for the Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in the Comedy Series and has won two Critics Selected Television Awards as Best Supporting Actor in the Comedy Series. The series was especially praised for portraying serious subjects while maintaining a good sense of humour. This series won the GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Comedy Series for portraying LGBTQ + people. Brooklyn Nine-Nine sometimes touches on serious problems, but much of what happens at the show is incredible, and basically, everyone has to admit to being fired. At both FOX and NBC, Brooklyn Nine-Nine was a great work comedy with a great cast.
22. 9 Days
The relationship between Jake Peralta and Captain Holt was at the heart of the series from the beginning. Peralta sees Holt as a kind of mentor/father person, but he often conflicts with procedural issues. Similar to the stakeout, 9 days is to put the two characters together in a small space. This time, Jake and Holt need to be quarantined while suffering from mumps. The swelling of their face and neck is a bit unpleasant, but overall, this is still a strong episode. This is the first episode of the list, the first participant, and a sign that new comedies are starting to take hold. In the fifth episode of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” you’ll meet the recurring character “The Vulture,” a detective from the Serious Crimes Department, who acknowledged all his achievements by rushing to resolve the case at the last second. It was the beginning of the refinement of the show world. Dean Winters also plays the smart cast, The Vulture.

21. Admiral Peralta
This is the latest episode on this list, aired towards the end of the show’s seventh season. Jake said he sees Holt as his father’s figure, in part because his father is an unreliable factor in his life. Meet Jake’s grandfather, Admiral Peralta, who gives his problems to Jake’s father. This episode is highlighted by three Peralta men trying to close their eyes and clear up the cake mess, as it’s a cake that reveals the sex for Amy and Jake’s babies. Some go to his husband Kevin, but many go to his beloved fluffy boy, the dog Cheddar. Unfortunately, while he and Kevin are away from town, Jake and Amy agree to sit at home, while Cheddar escapes. Now the precincts aren’t like police officers, they have to use their skills to find cheddar before it’s too late.
20. Sabotage
Is this a reference to the iconic music video for Beastie Boys’ Sabotage? Perhaps the sensibilities of this video and the show’s comedy are very similar. However, in this episode, someone tries to defeat Jake, so there is a hindrance, and it’s up to the precincts to find who. In addition, Gina begins to dance, and Hitchcock and Scully are doing a good police job. It’s the classic sitcom feed that puts the character together in a tight space, and it’s more justified in the show about police officers than in other shows. Jake and Charles agreed to do eight days of surveillance at the dubious hotel but soon began to get nervous about each other. This episode is mainly about two good friends who are slowly turning on each other because of their closeness.
19. Paranoia
Adrian Pimiento is an acquired taste, we know it. Jason Mantzoukas’s insane character is 11 out of 10 in every scene, so it’s not suitable for everyone. Other than that, he’s good at small quantities and Mantzoukas is a very interesting comedy performer. Of all the episodes of Pimiento, “paranoia” is the perfect fit for this character, so “paranoia” is the best. Jake Peralta investigates a jewellery store robbery, and all signs point to Dustin Whitman (Kid Cudi). While Dustin is cursing Jake, Jake arrests him without proper evidence, and District 99 begins a fight against time as he can only detain the suspect for 48 hours. Jake had everyone work overtime and was about to be sued by the district attorney, eventually finding out that it was Dustin’s old cellmate who was committing the same crime as Dustin. Dustin and his partner split the money in the hope that no one would put him in the criminal frame. In this episode, jokes and character depictions are powerful.
18. Honeymoon
This was the premiere of Season 6 and the premiere of the show on NBC, with the first five seasons airing on FOX. That said, they had to recreate some assumptions and characters for potential new viewers but went a step further to make the episode dynamic and fun. They also had to work on a big event at the end of Season 5, as you can guess from the honeymoon title. Rosa Diaz is a resident badass, a seriously cynical and wonderful detective. At the game night, Rosa announces at a briefing that she is bisexual and later explains to Jake that she did not appear to her parents. Jake agrees to pretend to be her boyfriend, and they meet her parents for dinner. Their lie is revealed when they notice Jake and Amy’s photos together and speculate that Rosa must be his mistress. Her parents can’t accept that she could be bisexual, but rather want to see her as her lover. Eventually, Rosa’s father apologizes and says he accepts her, but her mother needs more time. Like gay captain Holt, Brooklyn Nine-Nine brings depth and LGBTQ + expression to all the sexually-oriented characters that Brooklyn Nine-Nine has admired.

17. The Bet
In the Brooklyn Nine-Nine pilot episode, it’s been established that Jake and Amy are betting that if they lose, they’ll have to date Jake. It seemed strange in modern Sitcom, but the show was able to make it work well because it wasn’t a date. After all, it was the “date” that Jake had a miserable time with Amy. A friend who is playfully playing with another friend. But amid their fake date-and, a side adventure to solve the case-Jake begins to think he might have feelings for her. “The Box” is one of the few episodes of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” which allows viewers to see a detailed interview process conducted by District 99. After Philip Davidson’s partner was murdered and brought in for cross-examination, Philip’s airtight alibi and defence strain Peralta and Holt. The pair tries the routine of good cop and bad cop. Jake screams out of tune on his guitar and lies about the witness statement to find out the truth.
16. Greg And Larry
Brooklyn Nine-Nine likes to end the season with show-changing events. Take the season 3 finale as an example. The stakes are high in this episode as members of the precincts are fleeing from the gang crew while dealing with uncooperative witnesses who want to see the mafia boss dead. I am. Jake and Holt succeeded, but their boss called Jake and threatened to kill Holt. Reduce the Witness Protection Program to two in Coral Palms, Florida, living as Greg and Larry. Jake suddenly realized the best strategy for the attack. Analyzing his personality (selfish and complacent) and using it against him. Jake creates an average murder scenario that doesn’t require a lot of planning and presents it to Philip. Philip argues that he never confesses stupidity or crime, boasting of how clever he is.
15. Coral Palms: Part 3
Following the event at the end of Season 3, the show spent three episodes at Coral Palms dealing with the aftermath. It may have been a big change, but the show also deserves praise for not washing away everything that happened at the end of the season in a single episode. Coral Palms: Nods here, considering that Part 3 is the last of the three episodes and leads things to the climax.

14. Charges And Specs
The first season of the show ended with “Prices and Specifications”. It includes big moments such as Jake being “dismissed” by the New York Police Department and infiltrating the FBI, killing a criminal family, but first telling Amy his feelings. This is a big episode for the show, both as a police procedure and as a comedy. Oh, and Boyle and Gina are sleeping together, it’s wild. One of Peralta’s more adorable features is his relentless love for Die Hard. This shaped his personal and professional life, brought many hilarious gags in episodes, and even a guest appearance by Reginald VelJohnson. In Season 3, even on Christmas Day, Charles Boyle (Joe Rotorrio), Peralta, Detective, and Gina Linetti (Chelsea Peretti) were involved in a department store hostage case and were ready to recreate Jake’s favorite movie.
13. Debbie
Debbie, played by Vanessa Bayer, appeared in the seventh season of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and is burning brightly. After misunderstanding some advice, a shy policeman decided to steal cocaine and a machine gun from the evidence room. Things come to mind in this episode, and Debbie also does a lot of cocaine. In another more serious episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, he follows the case of the victim of sexual assault, which she said she said. Victim Keri Brennan also “broken” the penis of the sexual attacker (and his boss). During the incident, Jake and Amy try to understand who is telling the truth. It is an important episode to reflect the sexism in her workplace that she said.
12. Pontiac Bandit
Two repetitive stories repeat throughout the world of the show. One is the Halloween raid and the other is the Doug Judy ballad, also known as the car thief. I wanted to include only one of these episodes in this list, so I’ll use the first episode. Craig Robinson is great as Doug Judy, and at the same time, it’s fun to see the dynamics between his friend and enemy Peralta and him. Jake and Rosa are surrounded by Lieutenant Melanie Hawkins for several bank robbers, and crime and punishment see the two nervously waiting for a verdict in court. Jake believes in the judicial system, is more optimistic than Rosa (who rarely expresses emotions), and trusts 99 to save her. The remaining members of the team follow the last lead, where pig farm owner Matthew Langdon describes his past business relationship with Hawkins and confirms their corruption. Unfortunately, when Langdon runs, he denies Hawkins’ corruption and both Jake and Rosa are sentenced to imprisonment.

11. Dillman
Wouldn’t it be great to be able to land Oscar winners as your Sitcom guest performers? That’s “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” and J.K. Simmons appears as Dillman, the best detective Holt knows. Of course, this makes Jake jealous, so he competes with Dillman to find out who sent the glitter bomb to the precincts. Of course, Simmons is great.
10. Cop-Con
This episode is about a police tournament in the most exciting city of Rochester, New York. Holt is excited to give a presentation, but then his laptop gets lost during the party the rest of the district is throwing. This leaves them scrambling to find out what happened to them, which is difficult considering how much was drunk the night before. In Momo, Terry takes on new responsibilities in her work, and one night she can’t pick up her daughter from kindergarten, so Jake and Amy offer to help. In the car, the twins were playing in the window and accidentally took Cagney’s blanket Moo Moo out of the window. Cagney can’t sleep without a blanket, so Terry sets out to find her at night. After finding her blanket, Terry was stopped by Officer Maldack. Maldack implies that Terry is a criminal because of his skin colour.
9. Ticking Clocks
This episode is completely gimmicked. Everything happens in real-time and the battle against time takes place. However, it works. It gave the show a fresh feel and also added some extra bets and excitement. Also, they don’t look down on jokes just because they can rely on gimmicks.
8. Safe House
Nine-Nine is in trouble when the criminal Seamus Murphy reappears. The situation is so serious that Holt’s husband, Kevin, needs to be taken to her safe home. Jake agrees to be with him, but the two have little in common. Also, Holt is very strict and avoids having a phone or internet. They only have a two-month movie by Nicolas Cage. And Jake isn’t even thinking about showing Kevin “Captain Corelli’s Mandolin.” The only person who might be interested in Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumero) is when Santiago no longer declares a relationship with a policeman when Jake wants to make him, both eventually single.

7. Halloween
The first Halloween episode is just the sixth episode of the show, which makes it a real leap and ingenious show. Jake and Holt will hold a contest to see if Jake can steal Holt’s medal and take the courage to declare himself the best detective/genius by midnight. It’s so much fun, and it just started with multiple episodes of the same vein that went crazy. This is simpler but still huge. In another Halloween robbery, the purpose is a champion cummerbund that: Amazing Human / Genius. As the team begins hunting, Jake lures Amy into the evidence closet. There is another cummerbund there. Will you marry me with the inscription this time? Jake is kneeling behind Amy and reading the title.
6. The Jimmy Jab Games
Did you enjoy the episode of the Office Olympics in the office? After that, you will probably like Jimmy Jab games. The competition is more intense and the bomb suit is involved, so it’s the same as taking it to the next level. We also eat very intensely expired Chinese food on our way. In Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s true fashion, Jake and Amy show how bad they are in a day. It’s Jake and Amy’s wedding anniversary, and their venue will soon be canceled in the rumors of a bomb. At the head of the explosive ordinance is Amy’s ex-boyfriend, Teddy. When the heat slows Nakatomi Plaza’s pie (why does Jake not let the hard reference die on a big day?), there is no venue, the ring bearer suffers from chickenpox, and Amy’s veil. Jake and Amy are worried that they may not be able to celebrate their wedding. Charles will hold a reception in the precincts, Holt will serve as the secretariat, and robots will carry the ring into the aisle as the special day progresses. Jake and Amy finish the season well. At the start of Season 2, we saw Nine Nine’s ultimate team-building exercise in the Jimmy Jab game. It was a competitive, but hilarious series of games that tested the skills of all members of the team.
5. Yippie Kayak
Jake Peralta’s favorite movie is Die Hard. He always talks about it and wants to be a John McClane-style cop. “Yippie Kayak” is a Christmas episode, so of course, it’s also an episode of “Die Hard”. Jake, Boyle, and Gina are in the store while robbing and have Peralta play a cowboy without Hans Gruber. Jake Peralta is famous for three things: his excellent detective skills, his irresponsibility, and his great love for Die Hard. When he rushes to Charles (his best friend and colleague) to buy a last-minute Christmas gift, the store is hijacked by armed robbers, and all civilians are taken, hostage. Gina was supposed to distract Charles while Jake went looking for Christmas gifts. Jake and Charles need to save the store and prevent Gina (civilian) from being held hostage in the process. As an eccentric and ironic person, Gina isn’t sure she will take this opportunity to have her police moment. The gang asks 99 for help and eventually becomes a hostage. Terry uses Jake’s information to save the day outside, and the police arrest the criminal and release all hostages.
4. The Box
Before filming the comedy version of the police show, Andre Braugher was the protagonist of the drama Homicide: Life on the Murder. The box is like a murder comedy twist that works when Brauer is at the helm. It also helps to have the outstanding Sterling K. Brown the dentist who may or may not have killed his partner. Brown was also nominated for an Emmy for his performance.

3. Beach House
Most of Brooklyn Nine-Nine is working on the case in the office. The beach house doesn’t have any of them. Detectives head to Boyle’s ex-wife’s beach house on weekends for drinks and parties. However, Holt was never invited to such an event in his time, so Jake invites Holt. This makes everyone uncomfortable, but improves the quality of the episode, as Holt is his boss.
2. Jake & Amy
A wedding episode! What a novel idea! You see, we’ve seen many wedding episodes throughout the year, but they tend to be turbulent and, when properly managed, they usually appear on such lists. “Jake and Amy” really knocks it out of the park. They raise the ante by calling the threat of a bomb to their wedding location, but in the end, we get a wedding and fun and celebration, and it’s sometimes great.
1. HalloVeen
It is appropriate that the best episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine is the episode of HalloVeen. But it connects that episodes-and the escalating turmoil of those robbers-with another important element of the show. Of course, that would be the relationship between Jake and Amy. We voted her wedding episode as the second best. Now, this Halloween robbery episode ends with Jake’s proposal, which helps him to top the list. Captain Holt challenges him after Jake Peralta claims to be a great criminal on Halloween in District 99. If Jake can steal Captain Holt’s medal of courage by midnight, Holt will nominate Jake as the best detective/genius and do all his paperwork. If Holt wins, Jake will have to work five weekends without compensation. The Medal of Valor is trapped in the vault of Holt’s office, and only Holt knows the code. Jake managed to use the skills of Rosa, Terry, and Amy to win medals, and Jake won the bet. Halloween marks the beginning of the annual tournament, which is so much fun and interesting. We love Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s Halloween Heist episodes, and part of the reason is that they seem to raise the ante every year. Because of this, we are always nervous and waiting for who will be chosen as the “ultimate detective/genius”, but the episode of this robbery was different.
