Ao Haru Ride or more commonly known as blue spring ride is a Japanese anime series that is based on a manga sharing the same name and belongs to the slice of life genre. the show has got very high ratings along with a great word from the critics. The show has also got a huge fanbase and is surely worth a watch based on the online reviews.
The story revolves around a high school girl who reunites with her long-lost crush in high school and starts developing feelings for him again, in the process much drama along with new obstacles comes in their part and leads to the creation of a beautiful path of romance. Ao Haru Ride Season 1 Recap
The first season of the show has a total of 13 episodes, the first season on the show has the briefing of the characters of Futaba and Kou, who have been close in middle school, and Futaba also had feelings for him, but out of a confrontation, she admits that she doesn’t like any boys and soon a distance gets created between them which before resolving leads to the departure of kou. In high school present day, we see Futaba’s reunion with kou but she realizes that he has completely changed along with his surname which is now Mabuchi. Futaba also has the fear of being outcasted from the social group and thus pretends to be a part of her friend’s gang but soon steps for a girl named yuri who was actually being harassed by yuri’s own friends.
We also see breakage in the bond and soon Futaba takes the stand for herself and decides to become the class representative. Futaba along with yuri and kou. They have to go on a leadership training camp where there is a lot of chaos between the group but they end up returning safely and soon enough yuri confesses to Futaba that she has feelings for kou with this Futaba becomes very impulsive and realizes she has fallen for kou too. We soon get to know that kou has failed his midterm and in a studying session devised for Kou, Futaba notices his growing bond, soon yuri ends up proposing kou and gets rejected, we also get to know about the dark past of kou.
Ao Haru Ride Season 2 Story
The second season of the story will mainly focus on the bond between Kou and Futaba, we also find the entrance of toma towards the end of season 1, he will play a big role as Futaba’s boyfriend for a few days after which we see Kou and Futaba coming together. Between all this, we will also see the entrance of yui who will end up in a temporary relationship with kou. The ending of the story is surely going to be a beautiful and quite predictable one.
