Star Trek: Discovery Season 4 Release Date
The American TV series, Star Trek: Discovery is the seventh series under the franchise banner, Star Trek. The first season was released in two parts that altogether included 15 episodes. The very first episode was released on 24th September 2017 and the last episode of season 1 made its way on CBS on 11th February 2018. It was followed by the second season that started airing on 17th January 2019 and ran till 18th April 2019. The latest installment that we have presently is a 13 episode long season that was released on 15th October 2020 with its last episode on 7th January 2021.
Star Trek: Discovery season 4 is all set to premiere this year. It will be available in the US on Paramount Plus. The creators haven’t provided any release date but they have revealed that 2021 is going to be super excited as the fourth season will be released by this year. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown restrictions, the team had to face many delays and problems. During the filming, many of the cast members were also tested positive that was a matter of big concern for everyone. It was not for a single time when this situation happened but some of the actors got affected by coronavirus three times.
The filming began in November 2020 and finally, it wrapped itself up in August 2021. It took place in Toronto and since the situation was not normal, the crew members remained in quarantine for some days as well. Now, since the filming has already been completed, we expect Star Trek: Discovery to release by late 2021.
However, in mid of all the seasons, the creators planned for several spin-off series to keep the adventure going. Star Trek: Short Treks, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and Star Trek: Section 31 are some of the spin-off series that were released recently. Coming to the audience’s reception, the series has not failed to prove itself up to our expectations. The first and the second season of Star Trek: Discovery has a score of 82% and 81% on Rotten Tomatoes, accordingly. On the other hand, season 3 seems to be more successful as it scored 91%.
Undoubtedly, Star Trek: Discovery season 4 is much awaited among the fans and their wait will be facing an end very soon. It was from 16th October 2020 when we started waiting desperately for it to arrive.

This time also most of the characters from the previous seasons will be returning in the main roles. Sonequa Martin-Green will be reprising the role of Michael Burnham. Anthony Rapp will appear as Paul Stamets while Wilson Cruz will be playing the role of Hugh Culber. Further, Mary Wiseman will portray the character of Sylvia Tilly. How can we forget Saru? Once again Doug Jones will be a part of this series by playing this character. In addition to them, Ian Alexander as Gray Tal and David Ajala as Cleveland “Book” Broker have joined the series.
