FAR CRY 6

With a new trailer, as the title of the event indicates, Far Cry 6 gameplay was finally shown. Navid Khavari, the game’s narrative director, said that Far Cry 6 will be going to be their “most determined open-world game released yet” based on the theme of the Caribbean island Yara. This is filled with decaying urban landscapes with lush tropical environments. Navid Khavari describes the theme of a map as “an island of contrast.”

As Tara’s Presidente Antón Castillo stars an award-winning actor, Giancarlo Esposito in Far Cry 6. Focused to bring the former glory of the island back, Castillo rules with an iron fist and does everything that must be done to see his vision come to fruition. Thus, his actions start oppression of the people of the island and this oppression starts a revolution and here Dani Rojas, the protagonist of the series enters. Dani Rojas as discussed is a young military dropout who is fed up with Castillo’s reign and now governs an army of the guerrilla to end this cruel dictatorship.

Will Far Cry 6 be co-op?

Yes! As per the information available, it is clear that there will be a co-op in Far Cry 6 but till now Ubisoft is not talking much about it

Previous games in the series like Far Cry 5 have had co-op, where you can play alongside a friend once you had completed the introductory part of the game and left the Dutch’s island. Co-op is also there in Far Cry New Dawn

There’s is not many details available about how co-op will work in Far Cry 6, but we update you once things get cleared.

The Far Cry 6 Trailer Breakdown

In the recent trailer, we get a chance to see a bit of gameplay. In this, our protagonist, Dani, a Yaran, is sparking the revolution against the rule of dictator Antón Castillo and his son Diego. And while the trailer shows off and it is pretty clear that Far Cry 6’s graphics are going to be familiar with other Far Cry games but still some new interesting features are coming with the game.

For example, you will be able to holster your gun, which will allow you to dissolve in with the local population and help to go in disguise. With this, as long as you are not in a restricted area, enemy soldiers will not rush towards you when they see you. Because of this you can explore the world of Far Cry 6 without engaging with, or always hide from enemy troops. Unlike this in previous games, enemies try to kill you as soon as they saw you.

Players can also ride horses, which were unnaturally absent in Far Cry 5 (which takes place in Montana). And instead of the same old quest markers on the in-game map, some task will deliver photo on your in-game mobile phone. It is similar to the treasure hunt that we see in games like Red Dead Redemption 2, you have to reach the location based on an image, and this not only makes this game more interesting but allows you to explore the world in greater depths.

Story of Far Cry 6?

As discussed earlier, in Far Cry 6 you will be playing Dani Rojas and is a part of a revolution against the brutal and vicious rule of Antón Castillo, Yara’s dictator, who has been ruling Yara for the past 50 years. From its first look, it appears to be a crucial time for the country as the trailer shows civilians with explosives and government agents with riot shields and guns. In an interview, Ubisoft says that their writing teams spent a good time in Cuba getting to know the island and former guerrilla revolutionaries as they’re influencing the story of the game.

Navid Khavari says “When you are looking at something as difficult as an island that is been isolated from the rest of the world from last 50 years and been in an economic drop-off, electing Antón as their leader in hope that he would build the new paradise as Antón lulled people to believe that he is the answer to all their problems,” and as far as players are concerned this is an exciting thing on the character to explore the concept of Antón as there are some people who voted for him that time and now are regretting and another hand there are still some who supports him. And this intersection between the worldviews and demographics will surely reflect in the story as well.

FAR CRY 6

Talking about Antón’s background story, Ubisoft says that his father was executed in front of him 50 years ago, and as result, he rationalizes his views and policies and also attempts to pass them on to his next generation. However, Ubisoft has not said anything about Dani Rojas yet, that how Dani becomes involved with Antón Castillos and Diego Castillos. But Khavari commented that the triangle between the three characters i.e. Dani, Antón, Diego is very crucial and interesting.
