Thermae Romae Novae: The Architect Who Slipped Through Time

Thermae Romae Novae Season 1 revolves around the life of Lucius Modestus and his daily activities. He is an architect in the ancient Roman kingdom who was spending his time building structures. Lucius mainly soecialised in making bath pools which the Romans used to take a bath in the public.
But destiny was not so easy and good for Lucius. Soon, he started facing difficulties in his professional life and the problems only went on becoming large and larger. He was completely out of new ideas and as a result, Lucius’s higher officials rebuked him. Lucius started facing crisis regarding finding out a job since he was out of creativity. One day, Lucius came across a secret tunnel below a spa in ancient Rome. The tunnel somehow teleported him to the future world in Japan where everything was so advanced. Lucius kept on roaming around in awe, looking at how much people had advanced.
This helped him learn a lot about modern designs, and gave Lucius the idea to improve his architectural contributions in ancient Rome. Lucius roamed around future Japan to look at public bath, private toilets, water parks and zoological gardens to take ideas. This secret of Lucius could send him to exile or cost him his life. Still, whenever Lucius faced any problems in Rome, he just took a trip to the future and learned any idea that was out there. Since he was helping Roman citizens to get more comfort in their lifestyle, Lucius Modestus gained a huge name all across ancient Rome

Kenjiro Tsuda and David Wald have voiced Lucius Modestus in Japanese language and the English dub. Other voice actors include Tsutomu Isobe, Asami Seto, Tsutomi Isobe, Satoshi Hino, Junya Enoki, Amber Lee Connors, Paolo Andrea Di Pedro, Sanae Kobayashi, Yoshimasa Hosoya and Shuichi Ikeda. The first season came out on 28th March 2022 in Japan. Since there is no announcement about Thermae Romae Novae Season 2, you will have to wait.
