Jugjugg Jeeyo is an upcoming romantic comedy film, Written by Anurag Singh and Directed by Raj Mehta. The film is scheduled to be released on 24 June 2022, Jug Jugg Jeeyo is a collaboration of Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios production. Produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta the film has a powerful star cast and producers so everyone is looking forward to the release of the film. The film is set in the city of Patiala where a happy and loving Punjabi family found themselves surrounded by a heated argument over divorce in the family. Jugjugg Jeeyo is filled with not just family issues and divorce but also highlights issues like extramarital affairs family values etc with a light comedy element.

Varun Dhawan is always known for his romantic and loving characters but this time he is going to pull off a rather mature concept where he has to deal with his divorce in between his sister’s marriage and he also finds out about his father’s affair and his parent’s possible divorce. With all these confusion and family troubles we will get to see Manish Paul in a rather carefree role who does not get affected by his father’s extramarital affair. Kiara Advani will be seen as Varun’s better half who will have a hard time dealing with her marital issues.

The romantic comedy film is set to be released on 24 June 2022, the trailer was released on May 22, 2022, on Viacom18 Studios official youtube channel which is currently trending at number 2 on youtube. After just one day of its release, the trailer has received 1.3 million views and 72k likes. The trailer has created quite a buzz, the fans are highly anticipating the release of the film since the trailer looks quite promising for addressing such a different issue. Jugjugg Jeeyo is going to be Varun Dhawan’s first release this year which might be the reason why everyone is so excited about the release of the film.

Jugjugg Jeeyo Story

The film will depict the story of married couple Kukoo Saini and Nainaa Sharma who happily got married with a grand wedding but just after a few months of their marriage two of them find out that they are not compatible and they want to get a divorce. The couple goes back to Punjab for a family wedding and they plan not to tell anyone about their divorce decision until the wedding gets over.
Nainaa gets impulsive because Kukoo does not talk about their divorce with his family, among all this chaos of wedding preparation and divorce stress Kukoo’s father breaks the news that he is going to give a divorce to Geeta.

Kukoo’s father tells him that he is in love with a teacher, Kukoo’s mother feels that Kukoo and Nainaa are facing some trouble in their marriage. she suggests Kukoo get some advice from his father because he knows how to deal with all these family troubles. All of a sudden Geeta tells Bheem that she wants Meera without knowing that she is Bheem ‘s girlfriend, Geeta gets the news about Kukoo and Nainaa’s divorce and warns them they cant take divorce because this has never happened in the family and it will not happen in future either.
