The official YouTube channel of Battlegrounds Mobile India has two videos related to the new logo and games, reinforcing that the game is about to return.
One important thing to ponder is that PUBG is not mentioned anywhere on the website as well as on the YouTube channel. Thus, Battlegrounds Mobile India is the rebranded version of PUBG Mobile and Krafton will manage its proper functioning and distribution in India.

“Battlegrounds Mobile India will be launched with exclusive in-game features and events like outfits and with its leagues and tournament it has its own eSports ecosystem. This game will be free to play experience for mobile devices,” Krafton said in a statement.
“Krafton will associate with different partners to build an indigenous eSports ecosystem in India while bringing latest in-game content on daily basis, and this is starting with India specific in-game events at launch which are announced later,” the company added.
Before the launch, the company will have pre-registration to get good engagement.
Battlegrounds Mobile India Privacy and Security Concerns
Prakash Javadekar, Union Minister at that time, had previously said that PUBG Mobile is one of those games that are “addictive, violent, explicit, and tend to create a complex in the mind of children”. He further added that the government is planning to set up a centre of excellence in gaming to promote Indian cultural ethos, instead of violence and hatred.
At each stage, to ensure security and data protection, the developers will partners with different organisations. Now, data security and privacy will be the topmost concern of Krafton.
“All data collection and storage will be in full conformity under all applicable regulations and laws in India. This will ensure that the privacy rights of every individual are respected,” Krafton said.

To play the game they must get consent from their parents and have to provide the mobile number of their parents to confirm that they are eligible and has consent to play the game as per the policy.

No exact date of release or timeline of events is revealed by Krafton. But what you have to know is that the pre-registrations will be on board much before the actual release of the game.
