In the recent chapters released of the series we saw, Cheng and Shashan going through a fight where Cheng is ignoring Shahsan, But Shashan’s friend Xinje can’t see her getting ignored by her husband, so she makes a full proof plan and makes him help her to save her life.
When Shanshan asked Cheng to come and swim along with them, he ignored her saying he isn’t in the mood to be with them, this made Shanshan a bit sad and she refused to go into the water with her friend. While Xinjie asked her deliberately to join her swimming. After pleading Shanshan is in the pool and as she doesn’t know swimming Xinjie finds it the right time to make Cheng help Shashan and make her feel loved.
Xinje then left Shanshan on the shore alone and came back to the beach and told Cheng to save her from the high tides. Where Shansha was shouting for help as she got scared. And Obviously, it is Cheng who ignored her for reasons but never stopped caring for her or loving her. H dived into the waters and saved his wife, confessing his love and care for her.
