When we are talking about fantasy films, we cannot forget Disney. Can we? Disney has come up with some of the best fantasy films so far. However, no films have reached the mark. Although most of the Disney films have reached their peaks of success, some have not achieved that point. Today we are going to discuss the film Prince Of Persia. The film was released in 2010. There was much hype about the film back in the day, but currently, nobody knows what is the current status of the cinema. If you want to know what exactly happened, you have come to the right place.
Prince Of Persia Part 2 Release Date
Prince Of Persia was released in 2010 as has been already mentioned. The film starred Jake Gyllenhaal which is one of the reasons why it gained so much popularity in the days. However, whatever Disney had planned for the film, nothing happened according to the plan. Disney invested millions of dollars in the film, but the outcome was pretty disappointing. Based on a video game, the film was thought to be one of the best ones of the decade, but the results were the opposite.
We speculate that Prince Of Persia is not going to have another part. There are various reasons which have led to our speculation. Let us explore them without further delay. Firstly, we should look at the reception of the film. Prince Of Persia was on the highest-budget films Disney in 2010, but as has been mentioned several times, the film did not receive much support from the audience. Prince Of Persia was released with the idea of creating sequels of it, but we have not received any sequels so far because the film did not gain its expected ratings.
Secondly, after spending so much on the first film which did not do well in theatres ultimately, the creators were reluctant to make another sequel. We cannot blame them because if we do not have enough budget, it is pretty difficult to create a sequel to a fantasy-action film. Therefore, they have decided not to create any more sequels although it was previously planned so.
Hence, considering all these reasons, we have come to our speculation that Prince Of Persia is not going to have another run. Also, it has been 13 years since the release of the film, we should not expect a second film of Prince Of Persia.

Prince Of Persia Story
The film is based on the video of the same name. The story follows the events of the Kingdom of Persia. It is quite interesting, but it could have been organized in a much better way.
Prince Of Persia revolves around a boy named Dastan. He, at first was an orphan, but later he got adopted by the King, which is why he later became one of the princes along with the biological sons of the King. Like all the kingdoms are destined to be attacked one day, this kingdom was also on the verge of getting attacked. However, the brothers saved the kingdom, but at the same time, they also had to face internal struggles among themselves.
Kingdoms and women go hand-in-hand. Like the stereotypical storylines where the woman is villainized, Tamina in the film is also villainized. It is as if, the creators cannot think of anything other than making the woman evil. She tries to kill Dastan with a dagger. This dagger is not some ordinary dagger. This one is endowed with magical powers that allow the person using the dagger to travel in time. Therefore, the story of Prince Of Persia is a complex one having a mixture of action, fantasy, and time travel.
Prince of Persia 2 Storyline
If there had been a second part of the film, it would have been an extended storyline of whatever happened in the first film. However, there is no chance of us getting a second film. There is no option for a second film in the present situation. Disney does not want to take up the movie any longer, and without Disney, nobody else is going to continue the incomplete franchise.
