Cheat Season 2 Release Date
The series’ first season was released in the year 2019. Since then, fans have been waiting for the release of its second season. However, according to the sources it has been discovered that Cheat is not going to return for another season.
The series was essentially made with the idea of running for a maximum of four episodes. According to one of the officials, who has been a part of the unit of Cheat, the series is probably not going to return for its second run. Even if season 1 ended on a mysterious note, the creators are not yet ready to continue the show.
It has to be understood that some pieces of entertainment are better when they are left with an open ending. The art of leaving the piece on a cliffhanger is not something new. Writers and directors have been doing this for years. The book Five Feet Apart is also left on a cliffhanger.
Since the news has been reported by one of the officials of the unit of Cheat, we really cannot hope for the show’s next return. If the creators wanted to change their minds, they would do that long ago. It has already been close to three years since the show’s end, and it is kind of certain that Cheat is not going to return for a second installation.

Cheat Story
The story of Cheat revolves around a professor and her student. Their relationship is not normal and smooth. They have a strained relationship, and there is a lot of tension going on around them. Now you know why I mentioned the story above.
Leah is Rose’s professor, and both of them do not quite like each other. It happened so Rose was given an assignment by her professor. The assignment required Rose to write an essay, which she did. However, Leah, the professor, found something off about it and called out Rose for cheating on her assignment paper.
Rose did not take the accusation sportingly. She considered that Leah, despite being her professor, had no right to humiliate her in front of everybody. She chalked out revenge against her professor.
The revenge plan included Rose having a sexual encounter with her professor’s husband, Adam, and finally murdering him. Quite extreme of Rose to go ahead and carry out such a horrific task.
Interestingly enough, Rose’s revenge plan was further fueled when she discovered that Leah was her half-sister. This revelation exacerbated the whole situation.
Rose does not escape her punishment from the law for murdering a human being. She gets apprehended by the police officers and jailed for quite some years. During the years of Rose’s incarceration, Leah gave birth to Adam’s child (she was pregnant when Adam was killed).
The series ends with Rose sending a letter to Leah a few days before her release from her years of captivation in jail. What will Leah do now? Will she be able to protect herself and her toddler from Rose? Well, that has been left to the interpretations of the audience.

The cast of Cheat includes Molly Windsor as Rose and Katherine Kelly as Leah. Tom Goodman-Hill played the role of Leah’s husband, Adam.
Besides this main cast, there are also various other supporting characters.
