Knights and Magic Story
The story of Knights and Magic deals with the concept of reincarnation. The main protagonist of the show, Tsubasa Kurata, passes away in his previous life in a tragic car accident. The concept of reincarnation gets highlighted when Kurata is born in a different universe where there is magic and there are knights.
In this new life, Kurata is not the old ordinary human being anymore. He is born Eru in the Fermmevilla Kingdom. This kingdom is very different from the normal human world. There are heroes in the form of Silhouette Knights who fight the evils. As mentioned earlier, Eru is not an ordinary human being. In this universe, he is powerful and is born with the gift of magic. He can perform magic, and he has to use the magic for good purposes only.
Nevertheless, there is one different thing in this reincarnation. Unlike a normal human who does not remember their previous life, Eru remembers his past life. He has memories of what he was as a human being. This makes him exceptional combined with his magical powers.
Eru, to polish his skills, gets enrolled in Royal Laihaila Academy. Here he learns more about how to use his magical abilities. Later on, he takes it upon himself to go on an adventurous journey that involves with him fighting the evils like Silhouette Knights.

Knights and Magic anime is an adaptation of the light novel series of the same name which has been written by Hisago Amazake-no. This series has been illustrated by Kurogin and published by Shufunotomo. There are 11 volumes to the light novel series.
The manga of this light novel series has been written by Takuji Kato and published in Japanese by Square Enix and in English by Crunchyroll. There are 17 volumes of the manga.
