The story of the show is based on the historical day of 1987 which is known as Black Monday, the name was given so because on this the stock markets crashed, the date of this day is 19th of October, in the year 1987.This day marks one of the worst attacks ever on the stock market in the history of Wall Street.Until this day, there is not a single person who knows the one who was behind this and is responsible for this crash.
Black Monday, is a story that revolves around a group of people who are outsiders and have taken on the blue blood, the old boys club which is on Wall Street, ends up crashing one of the World’s largest financial systems. In the first season of the show, the audience can see that Blair Plaff who is indeed a white stockbroker in the wall of the street who works under Maurice Monroe is a stockbroker in the Veteran category.Blair is shown as someone who is trying hard to endure the hardships of his workplace to prove that he is also capable enough for the High stakes environment.On the other hand, we can see that Maurice wants to use Blair and he plots about it, he plans to execute a business deal that is underhanded, which is to buy Tiffany’s Family company that is known to be Georgina Jean’s.
