Hilda is a British- Canadian animated cartoon series, based on the novel “Hilda”. This is the story of an 11-year old, blue-haired girl, who has a fearless attitude. Hilda lives in a small tiny house in the forest with her mother. She has a lot of amazing adventures with her friends, named David, Frida, Alfur, and Twig. Hilda Season 3 can return anytime soon.

She had these adventures in and around Trolberg city. Hilda Season 1 was premiered on September 21, 2018, on Netflix and received an overwhelmingly positive response from the viewers and critics. This animated series is written by Luke Pearson. The Series has won many awards for its writing, animation, and vocal performance. Now, fans are waiting for the Hilda Season 3 release date. Hilda Season 3 Release Date

After premiering of season 1 in 2018, ” Hilda Season 2″ aired on December 14, 2020, on Netflix. There are 13 episodes in Hilda Season 1 and its second season also consists of 13 episodes with 24 minutes running time for each episode.

Now, for the time being, there is no news about “Hilda Season 3”, but the last episode of the second season, which ends on a cliffhanger gives hope, that season 3 may be released shortly. So, if there is another season, which is Hilda season 3, fans can expect season 3 to release sooner or later in 2022.

Fans will be glad by hearing the news that this 70-minute movie is currently in production. But, it is uncertain whether the series will pick up where the second season ends, or it will be a different story of adventure from seasons 1 and 2. In season 1 and 2 of the animated series Hilda, the following personalities gave their voices to the characters:

Bella Ramsey gave her voice to the lead character and Sparrow Scout, Hilda. Hilda’s mother, Johanna’s voice is given by Daisy Haggard.
There are Hilda’s friends too in this movie, their voice is also given by different personalities like:

Oliver Nelson (David)
Rasmus Hardiker (Alfur Aldric)

If Hilda Season 3 will be released, all the main voice cast probably the same as it is in season 1 and 2, at the same time, few changes are also possible in the cast. New voices may be possible for new characters.

Hilda Season 3 Storyline

Before the presumption for the third season story, we should know about the second season. So, Season 2 ends with the episode, whose title was ‘The Stone Forest’, in which Hilda, Johanna, and Twig find themselves wrecked in the Stone Forest. Frida and David go looking at them and they face many dangers on the way. Eventually, the Raven came to relieve them and took Hilda, Johanna, and Twig home.

The final episode ends when Hilda’s mother took breakfast to Hilda. As Hilda woke up, her mother was shocked to found that, there was a Troll Child on Hilda’s bed. While Hilda was playing in the Stine Forest with the Troll family.

As said earlier, Hilda is a young 11-year old girl, who has blue hair. She stands out from the whole human cast because of her unique outfit and hair. Hilda’s outfit is so unique in the series as she wears a black beret, a yellow scarf, a red sweater with yellow cuffs, a blue skirt similar to her hair, black leggings, and red rain boots.

Personality of Hilda

Hilda is a fearless and adventurous girl. She loves to draw sketches in her sketchbook. Hilda is also a nature lover and very kind to nature. She is not the one, who is scared by the monsters easily.
She is sometimes rude but generally is a very lavish girl. Graphics novel mostly showed up her rude side and she is known to frequently argue with her mother or she is also annoying when things don’t go her way.
Hilda having hates to dishearten people, especially her close ones, like, her mother, Johanna, and her friends. She always tries to do her best and to help others with their needs, sometimes she takes the risk to fulfil one’s request.

So, if there is season 3, it will become more adventurous and may continue Hilda’s story in the Stone Forest, but this will not be the subject of the next season. It may be just the starting of season 3.

Hilda Season 2 Recap

Hilda Season 2 consists of 10 episodes. The second season is a bit more quirky and funny. The second season of Hilda covers the story of Erik Ahlberg who lives in Trolberg and is the safety patrolling head of the town. Finally, her essay wins. Some day later aka Hilda realizes that whatever she is doing for the patrolling in the town, and it’s not working. The town isn’t getting safe anymore as it should be. Hilda is basically a very fun character and she tells how everyone should spend their childhood. At the end of season 2, the show gets very emotional and fans really want season 3 of Hilda.

The first season was released in 2018 and it consisted of 13 episodes. Hilda is a very small and happy girl. She grew with her mother in a total wilderness. The first season 1 of the show basically discovers the main character. The show revolves around her mother and Hilda when they are forced to move to Trolberg. The first season covers how they settle in the new town. Later on, she meets some people who became her friends and they did plenty of adventurous things together.
