The condition is, any one of the humans should defeat Lum, the gorgeous daughter of the leader of the Oni clan, in a one-on-one game of tag. Who will be this chosen person? Well, the chosen person is none other than Ataru Moroboshi.
Ataru Moroboshi is given the task to grab Lum’s horns. If does so, he will defeat the aliens of the Oni clan, and they will leave. Ataru is successful in touching Lum’s horns, however, he passed through various hurdles before reaching his goal. Even after he wins the game, Lum does not leave his side. She clings on to.
Lum starts to believe that Ataru is supposed to marry her. There is a huge misunderstanding. Ataru is supposed to marry Shinobu Miyake. Lum misunderstands the whole situation.
