Following this he finally ended up admitting the truth and confessed that he was depressed, he even tried to kill himself with the gun but wasn’t able to, soon he thought about killing a stranger and if that would give him some relief from his pain, but that ended up leading him to the following circumstances.
Now back in 2016 when he was put up for trial, his lawyer tried to convince the jury, that he was suffering from acute depression, and adjustment disorder which was accompanied by anxiety however it was soon by the state attorneys that it couldn’t be possible because when he was serving the country, he didn’t show any such signs and instead of that, he had quite a high intellect. Personality disorders don’t happen on a temporary basis.
Thus, right now he is serving his 2 life sentences at the Cummins Department, of the Arkansas Department of Correction Prison.
