On her quest, she comes across several people and is forced to overcome multiple hurdles.

Directed by Masahiro Andō, the anime is the cinematic adaptation of Sorata Akizuki’s titular manga. The manga series was published in August 2010 and has been ongoing ever since. Now, it possesses twenty-six volumes to its name and still counting. Almost ten years after its initial release, Masahiro picked up the manga for an anime and released the first season on July 6, 2015.
The sequel aired on January 11, 2016, with each episode being released weekly. So far, two more OVA episodes have been released, too. Yet, no updates regarding the third season have been announced. Since Shirayuki the sequel didn’t wrap the loose ends and left some questions unanswered, the possibility of a third season is high.
Given the availability of source material, Season 3 has no plausible reason to not happen. Snow White With The Red Hair Overview
The anime takes place in two contrasting towns, Tanbarun and Clarines. Shirayuki originally hails from Tanbarun and is quite popular as a skilled herbalist. She is careful to not let her hair stay open and garner unwanted attention. Despite her attempts, the prince of Tanbarun, Raj, catches a whiff of Shirayuki’s unusual hair colour. He demands Shirayuki to forego her independence and become his concubine to which she refuses and runs away from the kingdom.
Shirayuki reaches the kingdom of Clarines where she finds a man poisoned by an apple and immediately rushes to rescue him. As it turns out, the man is the second prince of the kingdom, Zen Wisteria, and the apple was meant to kill Shirayuki. Determined to repay Zen’s favour and establish her identity, Shirayuki vows to become the best herbalist in town.
Snow White With The Red Hair Season 3 Story
By the end of Season 2, Shirayuki has managed to become the lead herbalist in Clarines. Zen has become Shirayuki’s personal bodyguard and love interest. The two of them have developed a close bond but Prince Raj isn’t yet over his feelings for Shirayuki either. However, there seems no love triangle because Zen and Shirayuki are devoted to creating a future together. But life in the royal mansion as the wife of a prince isn’t something Shirayuki truly grasps and is uncertain regarding the same, too.
Snow White With The Red Hair Season 3 will most likely conclude their love story and probably the anime, too. It will be fueled by uncertainty, recklessness and captivating drama if it is approved that is.
