Slumberland’s Plot
This is a story of a little girl who is the daughter of a lighthouse keeper. This small girl is Nemo whose father is Peter. They both stay in the lighthouse where Peter used to tell stories to his little girl. The stories were of his past and it was full of adventures. In his stories, he mentioned the name of a man named Flip who used to be with him on his adventures. But the happiness doesn’t stay for long.
One day Nemo’s father Peter died and this left that little innocent girl alone in this world. She was then left with her uncle Philip who was not as enthusiastic and adventurous as Nemo’s father. Rather he was a boring man and was also sometimes awkward. He didn’t know how to take care of Nemo and how to manage her sufferings so he admitted Nemo to a school.
Soon after joining the school, Nemo finds out that she used to go to a dreamland which is named Slumberland after she sleeps. This is where she meets Flip, the man who used to be with her father. Now they both join together to face the nightmares in this world of dreams.

Did The Pearls Of Slumberland Work?
When Nemo got a pearl in her hand she used it to wish for Flip. The time when she did this Flip was caught by a monster and was fighting with it. She wished Flip would awaken in the waking world and not return to the dream world. This made Flip wake up in the real world. Also, Flip had a pearl he used to wish for Nemo, making her meet her father once again. So, the pearls of Slumberland did work as both of their wishes came to be true. The Ending
As Nemo fights with his Uncle, Uncle Philip takes a small boat and sets sail to return to the lighthouse where he and his brother, who is Nemo’s father, lived. But midway he got a strike in his head and became unconscious which led him to return to Slumberland once again. He then found the pearl which would complete his wish. But soon after finding the pearl he was attacked by a monster and he wasn’t able to make any wish. Nemo also finds one pearl and which she used to make her wish.
Nemo wished that this pearl would make her uncle go back to the real world forever. Then Flip also used his pearl to make a wish in which he said that Nemo meets her dad once again. So Nemo managed to see her dad once again. Together they did everything which they did in real life. Finally, she said goodbye to her father weeping with sorrow and grief. But the whole incident made Nemo brave and now she is not afraid of being alone in the real world.
It is seen that now Nemo and her Uncle both lived happily with each other. They both got a new life in which they are seen enjoying and laughing. Uncle Philip now turned into an adventurous man as he got Flip back into him. Together they now go to Slumberland as Nemo and her adventurous friend Flip.
