Unfortunately, producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura has confirmed that Die Hard 6 which was named McClane, won’t be happening anymore after Disney acquired Fox. If Disney changes its mind in the future, then Die Hard 6, aka McClane, could happen at any time, so fans should not give up hope until the end.

Die Hard 6 Story 

Disney has decided to put an end to the film series, so we no longer know what sort of storyline the sixth instalment could offer. Die Hard follows the story of an NYPD detective, John McClane, who arrives in Los Angeles on Christmas Eve. He happens to be in a beef with his wife, Holly, so he considers going after her to reconcile with her at a Christmas party in the Nakatomi Tower. John drives to the Christmas party and changes his clothes in a hotel room to join the guests and his wife at the party. While John was in his room, some German terrorists took hostage the guests. When John finally learns about the happenings of the terrorists, he indulges the terrorists in a cat and mouse game. The film then follows John’s attempts to save the people inside the tower by doing everything he could. One of the hostages is his wife, Holly, which puts him in an unfortunate situation, but he manages to kill the terrorists and free the hostages safely from inside the tower.

Die Hard 6 Cast 

Die Hard 6 was cancelled by Disney, so we will no longer get any new cast in the future.
