In the first season of the show, we get to see Doctor Edwards going through a mishap while she is taking care of an overdose patient, and during such a procedure, she is assisted by no consultant, an unexperienced assistant (Ramiah), and a man with a gun at the reception threatening to treat the gunshot patient, he has got. Now while dealing with that, due to the inadequate number of beds in the Emergency department, she asks to clear the bed of the overdose patient as it is the most uncritical one out there, and under a lot of pressure and hasty circumstances, Ramiah misunderstands the treatment and ends up killing the overdose patient for which doctor Edwards faces the court. But none can tell whose fault it is, whether the hospital’s lack of several beds, Doctor Edwards’s loss of composure under pressure, or Ramiah’s inadequacy.
Now for the storyline of season 2 Grace Ofori-attah has confirmed that she is not continuing the story of the first season and a new critical case of malpractice in the medical sector will be brought to us, regarding which we have no information as of now.
