The storyline of Otaku Elf revolves around a sweet elf. The name of the elf is Elda. Elda dwells in the Takamini shrine. Everyone believes she is a deity, but in reality, she is an elf. She is an immortal elf who is called in from another world. Unfortunately, she is stuck in this present world. She cannot get out of it. She is a loving elf, but things change for her when a boy taunts her for her ears by accident. Since then, Elda has become a shut-in. She never goes out of the shrine. She always encloses herself within Takamini.
Now, the story takes a turn when Koito Koganei is appointed as the Miko of the shrine. A Miko is a young priestess at a Japanese shrine. Koito has to act as the caretaker of the beautiful elf. The elf is an otaku, and Koito has to take care of the elf. She teaches the elf to socialize. She helps the elf come out of the boundaries that she made for herself. It is a beautiful story of friendship that you are going to love.
