The story starts the life of Wu Jie, who happens to be a Police Deputy. Wu was having a normal life and a good time with her partner but one day, everything changed. She has lost her fiance – the man committed suicide for some reason.
This mishap made Wu extremely depressed. She stopped being the usual Wu she always used to be. All she wants now is to just put an end to her own life and end her miseries. That is why one day, Wu decided to take the step. Just when she thought that she will end it all, a mysterious incident snapped away all her self harming thoughts. Wu found out about a Waree, a Thai woman who has died. Her body was found on the shore but there was a gruesome detail. The woman was missing her heart and one of her fingers on her hand. This incident Intrigued the whole Police Department including Wu.
She decided to take this case up with utmost priority – she might be suicidal, but Wu will now be the face of justice. She wants to solve the murder mystery for this helpless woman who lost her life.
