Kriti Sanon and Tiger Shroff collaborated again almost a decade after their debut film, Heropanti. They seem ready to slay their fanatics once again with their action drama. However, similar to his debut film, the Kangana Ranaut starrer Queen, the film is also a mere figment of Vishal’s creative prowess. Producer Jackky Bhagnani, renowned for Sarbjit and Bell Bottom, expressed his appreciation and excitement regarding the film upon witnessing the views skyrocket for the trailer. Bhagnani exclaimed that he is “thrilled by the incredibly positive response to the ‘Ganapath’ teaser and Hum Aaye Hain’ Song”. Bhagnani then continued to convey his firm gratitude by stating, “It’s immensely satisfying to see that we have been able to live up to the vision we had for the film, and it has struck a chord with the audience”.
The Mitron’s star concluded his statement with an enticing promise, mentioning that he is “Eagerly looking forward to the same level of love and enthusiasm in our viewers’ reactions to the trailer. We have so much more in store, and I can’t wait to unveil it all to the audience”.
Ganapath: A Hero is Born Premise
Bahl’s first high-octane action thriller was originally supposed to be a franchise with multiple iterations to its name. The first part, Ganapath: Part 1, was scripted in late 2022. But due to some unfathomable reason, Bahl proceeded with manifesting only one film, which is now entitled, Ganapath: A Hero is Born. It is scheduled to be released on October 20, 2023, coinciding with the Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra starrer, Mission Raniganj.
The 200 crore budgeted film delves into the dual-faceted personality of Guddu who transforms into Ganapath in the dystopian world. He is tasked with competing against the criminals and terrorists to safeguard the innocent people stuck in Delhi. Ganapath and his love interest, Jassi (Kriti Sanon), find themselves trapped in the maze of conspiracies laid out by a mysterious Dalini. Ganapath: A Hero is Born also features Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role. However, his character isn’t as fleshed out as Shroff and Sanon’s.
