He managed to conquer a wide fanbase with his minimalistic yet profound concept and illustration.
Due to the same, the manga has managed to rank second in the Nationwide Publishers’ Recommended Comics of 2023. The Shounen manga is centred around a timid high schooler, Ayase Yuu, who happens to be the only son of a brazen actress. While his mother is a perfectionist, Yuu is anything but. He struggles with conveying his feelings and fails to prove himself constantly. Due to his ordinary personality, Ayase becomes a target of extensive bullying at school. Those around him are extremely talented and keep frowning upon his incompetence. Yuu’s mother puts him under her friend’s care, hoping to isolate him from the snide glares.
Asaye’s incredibly confident and tomboyish schoolmates, Kazuki, Milwa and Niko surprisingly happen to be his housemates. The three Mikadono sisters, with their vibrant personalities and hair, ooze an aloof aura. They excel at every chore they dip their hands in, be it academics or extracurricular activities. Due to their expertise in almost everything, Asaye considers them to be arrogant and refrains from approaching them.

On his quest to have a large happy family, Ayase tries his best to become a thread binding the Makasono siblings.
