At this said party, Nicholas and Pepita got into an argument and walked out on him alone. Nicholas has confirmed with the officers that he last saw Pepita on March 26 when the two contradicted each other due to some anonymous man. While Nicholas has expressed the ordeal in which a rage-filled Pepita stranded him at the party and left on foot. He expected her to walk towards his apartment or get back to living with her mother but both of his estimations were proven false.
It is due to Nicholas’ statements and him being the last person to witness Pepita that he is being bombarded with such questions. Since there is no evidence against Nicholas’ statement or of him abducting his girlfriend, he cannot be blamed for Redhair’s mysterious disappearance.
