Blue Lock Manga Overview
Set in an entirely sport-oriented environment, Blue Lock follows Ego Jinpachi, a soccer coach and renowned player, along with Yoichi Isagi, a rookie football freshman. When the Japanese national football team is pushed out of the top 10 best-performing countries’ list, the Japan Football Association decides to rectify their situation immediately. They bring in Jinpachi and bestow a set of responsibilities on his capable shoulders with his primary endeavour being strengthening the team. Since Jinpachi is known for his strict guidelines and sharp comebacks, the association agrees to grant him leverage above the players and on the strategies.
As soon as Ego takes charge, he establishes his first name as the motto of the football regimen, Blue Lock, he is supposed to manifest. Any player who cannot abide by this regimen is banished from the Blue Lock. Moreover, he is banned from partaking in any national or international competitions. With their entire careers at stake, the Blue Lock members are forced to match Ego’s ruthless pacing and abide by the fretting practices he implements. As these players are enduring their ultimate test, a new member, Yoichi Isagi joins the team and threatens to alter the dynamics of the Blue Lock.
