As Hae-Jin lifts the Eight Bells, he is shrouded by the spirit of a Shaman of the Heavenly Altar. This spirit is hailed holy due to its ability to grant wishes and capabilities. Shaman grants Hae-Jin the ability to detect the true value of any object and appraise any artifact. But to achieve this ability to its fullest, Hae-Jin has to conquer the Three Heavenly Objects of the Heavenly Altar. Out of these three, one is the Eight Bells which Hae-Jin’s father has already left for him.
Now, he has embarked on a journey to collect the remaining two–The Bronze Dagger and The Bronze Mirror. On his journey, Hae-Jin comes across several hurdles, challenges and emotional dilemmas. The previous chapter of the manga introduced a mysterious friend of Hae-Jin, Seong-Jun. With Seong-Jun, Hae-Jin went to conclude an artifact deal but it went south due to the client, a conglomerate, Eun-Hye, belittling him.
