Directed by Chloé Wallace, this contemporary Spanish romance drama explores the themes of friendship, love and perfectionism. Due to this compelling narrative, A Perfect Story ticks off all the boxes for becoming a quick binge-watch. A Perfect Story Series Overview
This five-part series follows a polar opposite duo, Margarita “Margo” Ortega Ortiz de Zárate (Anna Castillo) and David (Álvaro Mel). The former is the heiress to a renowned hotel franchise while the latter is a simpleton, striving to keep himself financially afloat. Margarita is a true perfectionist with a passive-aggressive mother, a picture-perfect fiancém Fillipo, and a swoon-worthy lifestyle. However, she is swarmed with self-doubt and uncertainty. On her wedding day, Margo’s doubts send shivers down her spine and she runs away.
On the other hand, David’s relationship with Idoia is shaky, too. When he tries to reason with Idoia, she holds him accountable for their broken relationship and walks away.
