K dramas are surely something that has gained our respect in the last few years, with some of their magnificent projects, which have not only got a lot of attention from the audience but at the same time, they have received a lot of recognition from Hollywood, and other global film festivals. Now recently we have been given notice of a new movie, which is based on the homeless football world cup. Many of you may have heard of this special program, but most of you may be very much unaware of what this is all about. So firstly let’s talk about what this entire event has been, the homeless football world cup started back in 2002 and it was basically not an official football event held by FIFA or something like that, it is basically a charity event, which spreads awareness, regarding the condition of the homeless, the growing concerns of the rising number of homeless in the world, and along with that it also gives a chance to many homeless people out there to change their lifestyle completely and give them a new hope of life. In the year 2010 Korea participated for the first time in such an event and that is what this movie is all about.
The movie has received quite a good rating along with that the reviews have also been almost all positive from the critic’s side. Following that many people have been looking forward to this movie for a long time because we get to see the Korean superstar, Park Seo-Joon in action after a long time. The movie belongs to the comedy as well as the spots genre, and for all those wondering what this, movie is going to show us, we will learn how much sports can mean to a person, along with that we also get to see how this event actually changes the life of so many people around. For all those who have watched the movie, we are going to give a detailed explanation of the ending of the show and a summary of what happened throughout.
Dream Ending Explained
Before moving to the end of the show, we would like to just start from the beginning. It is the story of Yoon Hong-dae, who is a professional football player in Korea but because of his mother being a convict and also being on a run, he is continuously fighting with himself and at the same time, ends up being related to a fight with the media, who ask him triggering questions continuously. Now something that really shocks everyone is that this incident ends up creating a whole negative image for Yoon, and he also declares his retirement, with no further plans and goes all broke.
Now finally his agent finds out a way to bring him and while doing so, they decide to film a documentary where they will film Yoon acting as the head coach of the homeless football world cup team of Korea, and that is where the real journey starts for Yoon. Throughout the movie, we get to see various life stories of the homeless people in the team, and the director of the movie, Lee So-min tries to dramatize it and bring out a true master film from the existing scenarios, but it turns out to be really tough, looking at the mentality of Yoon.
Following this we soon see Yoon getting connected and an incident happens, when he gets into another fight with some high schoolers, who were trying to trouble, one of the mentally disabled women who was actually the girl one of the homeless guys on the team in love with and that woman actually used to admire Yoon a lot and also let him live at her place when he gave his home away to one of the teammates. Following this, the video of him saving the woman goes viral, and Yoon gets all of his public image back, but at the same time, he is offered a deal to return back to his old professional life, however, we get to see Yoon rejects it and participate in the world cup with his team.
Following all this, we get to see the struggle of the Korean team at the world cup and their continuous struggle to win and for the first time, feel like a winner in their life, which they have never felt before, which also brings Yoon back to his emotional side, and he finally learns how much he loves football. Soon we also see him getting back to his professional career as a much more all-rounder player, than he was before, with a much better sportsman mentality.
