With the likes of Harry Potter sprinkling their magic, series like The Bureau Of Magical Things have garnered traction. However, it is worth noting this Australian drama has little to no resemblance with Harry Potter aside from the hunting subplot. Created by Jonathan M. Shiff and Mark Shireffs, the series incorporates almost every plausible species into the blend. Be it humans, elves or fairies, The Bureau Of Magical Things have them all.
This tale is centred around a Triling, Kyra, as she aspires to reunite the three species–humans, elves and fairies. Though the series is aimed at a younger audience, anyone with a knack for magic can enjoy it. Due to this approach of the series, questions regarding The Bureau Of Magical Things Season 3 are flourishing.
The Bureau Of Magical Things Season 3 Release Date
Starring Kimie Tsukakoshi in the titular as Kyra, The Bureau Of Magical Things is a fantasy drama. It is set in a world where mystical creatures and humans co-exist. The foundation of this world is laid upon secrets and betrayals. This series follows the cliche human-meets-magical-creature trope but delivers a binge-worthy watch. Its first season premiered on July 8, 2018, through November 2 with each episode being released weekly.
The second season premiered on July 10, 2021, and ran until August 8. So far, The Bureau Of Magical Things Season 3 hasn’t received approval. But given the cliffhangers left by the previous seasons, the possibilities of a third season are high. Expect The Bureau Of Magical Things Season 3 to premiere in late 2024 if it receives approval soon.

The Bureau Of Magical Things Series Overview
Earth is no longer dominated by humans in this fantastical drama. Here, elves, fairies and humans co-exist but with the advancing technology, the former two species are endangered. The magic is being dominated by technology and the extinction of these species has become common. Amid this scenario, someone is trying to restore the balance of the world with the wrong methods and for the wrong reasons. When Kyra comes to know of this threat along with her best friend, Peter (Jamie Carter), they set out to stop the intruder.
On her quest, Kyra comes across several mystical creatures including Lily (Mia Milnes), Imogen (Elizabeth Cullen) and Darra (Julian Cullen). Lily is a friendly fairy while Imogen is an envious elf. Darra is Imogen’s brother who is way friendlier and more enthusiastic to collaborate with Kyra. As they embark on a mission to collect keys for the mysterious temple, the five of them quickly become a team. They are joined by several other fantastical creatures on their quest to reunite the three species forming the world.
The Bureau Of Magical Things Season 3 Storyline
Somewhere along the journey, amid tackling enemies, Darra and Kyra come close to each other and form a special bond. They deal with their personal issues alongside saving the world when Kyra’s identity is revealed. She’s a Triling, a unique species that is equal parts elf, human and fairy. While it is indeed a blessing, it becomes a risk for Kyra, too. She starts attracting more enemies due to her unique abilities who create obstacles in her journey.
Since Kara is yet to fulfil her mission, The Bureau Of Magical Things Season 3 will probably witness the accomplishment of the mission. Though the future of the series is still uncertain, fans are heavily invested in the series. Moreover, there are enough story arcs available for it to have another season. Given that The Bureau Of Magical Things is a fantasy drama, it is bound to take longer than any other series to hit the screens.
