The recent documentary that has been launched by the Netflix platform has given us an intricate view into the growing world of ai. Somehow from where the normal masses stand, we see ai as just a robot or some software that has been designed by humans to make our day-to-day activities much easier. We can use ai to just take help in our deemed responsibilities and that’s one of the main reasons that people are so excited about ai. However very less people out there have known the true powers of ai and there are the ones, who have been operating, developing, and modifying the world of artificial intelligence as days pass. Now Netflix has given out this documentary where we see some of the top officials of us, who have their own sectors of expertise in the world of ai, stating the perks and the disadvantage or the harms that ai can bring to the world of humans. We have often read how dangerous the growing world of robotics which is not controlled by humans but by software which is designed by humans can be. Among all the big powers, China has also been one of the leading nations participating in the widespread development of new and terrifying technologies.
The new documentary that has been introduced by Netflix has just got a single motto and that is to educate the masses regarding the true nature of ai and what the makers are actually hiding from us, or what we are having a blind eye towards. However, moving forward, many of you may be a bit confused regarding what the series tried to state by the end of it, and here we are to make it absolutely clear to the world, that though nothing has reached a final stage as of now, but there are some technologies that we need to be scared of.
Unknown: Killer Robots Ending Explained
From the beginning of the series, we see a set of people discussing the growing world of ai. Yes, whoever has watched the series, will be very familiar with how ai has been demonstrated as a glorified invention for humans at the very start of the documentary, however as we move further and further we see a continuous resilience shown by the higher authorities and the human welfare organization towards the world of ai.
From the point of view of the military, we have seen that ai is going around impressing people all over the globe with its modern technology, the minimal need of humans to control the robots which can be used in warfare, and the amount of efficiency7 that can be attained by using ai. We get to see the novo drone, which is an ai controlled drone and is currently in making when tested is able to scan the entire area on its own, without any humans controlling it, identifying families or opponents hiding within closed doors, and the main ideology behind the making of this drone was the safety of soldiers and reduction of lives lost in close combat.
Following this, the main area of fear kicks in when it is released in an article on how Ai can be used to create new and deadly toxins previously used to cure deadly diseases. With the basic change of a single word in a code, the ai ended up creating a database of some of the deadliest humanly possible toxins available out there. After being published, this article started creating fear of ai in the hearts of normal people because surely if the database could be accessed by anyone else, who lacked the ethics which these researchers have, we would be seeing some different consequences.
By the end of the documentary, we get to see that the main problem that ai will be creating is the lack of humanity that is needed in war and once ai controls warfare, and the fear of loss of lives is lost, warfare becomes more likely and in no way will that be helpful for any nation out there. Though the treaty to oppose the usage of ai in warfare was not brought into action because of thorough opposition from many countries such as Russia and China, we still have to be ready for what we are moving forward toward and how much damage the world of ai can do once it is given the power to take lives on its own will. Though we can stay a bit calm for now, because at a military level, the biggest challenge that is being faced by ai is differentiating between civilians and potential targets.
