Marital rape is a non-punishable event and this is the main reason why most women suffer silently. In Lust Stories 2, Kajol plays the role of a woman who has been married to a dirty-minded zamindar.
As time went by, she started realizing that she had been caught up in the wrong place. The scars on her body are marks of her intense pain and suffocation. Her son happens to be her only hope and flying to England will be their final escape. But the cruel Lord is not going to let that happen easily. Thus comes the Lady’s master plan! The third story revolves around Vijay Chauhan and her long-lost wife Shanti. After a gap of 10 years, he finally gets to see her again. Initially, he did curse the mysterious accident but when he opened his eyes again, he was in Paraisol. Shockingly enough, her dead wife happens to be alive or should we say he assumed so? Filled with suspense, mystery, and curiosity, directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the third narrative included in Lust Stories 2 was highly twisted and complicated.
But in this gap of 10 years, many things have changed, Vijay is now married to Anita and has done everything possible to take the company to the next level. Interestingly enough, the story ends with a messy scenario, where we find out that Vijay happens to be the one who killed Shanti and now he too happens to be a ghost. Coming down to the second story directed by Konkona Sen Sharma! This one revolves around a lonely woman and her maid! One mediocre noon when Isheeta suddenly drives up to her house, she discovers something extremely shocking and disturbing. Her maid, Seema Didi is taking the better of her house. Belonging to an extremely lower-class background, space is something she lacks the most. Interestingly enough, when Isheeta goes out for work, Seema Didi calls her husband and asks him to come to the apartment! And this is where the actual story begins.
Isheeta’s life is filled with loneliness and now that she has seen something so intense she feels like watching it again. Shockingly, Isheeta started enjoying glaring at Seema Didi and her husband. But when the truth came out, both parties tried to defend themselves and cover up for the messy blunder they have created. This story surely ends on a low-key dramatic note, where Isheeta heads up to Seema Didi and apologizes for firing her. Moreover, Seema Didi gets her job back and this time when the door cracks open, a new rise of light comes up.
Did Veda Get Her “Happily Ever After”?
Directed by R. Balki, Veda and Arjun’s extremely sweet arrange marriage was indeed quite impressive and highly alluring for the viewers. The way Veda’s grandmother took over the conversation and explained to everyone the concept of consummating before marriage was somewhat of an eye-opener for many. The story was quite simple and straightforward and surely got our attention. Surprisingly, in the end, even Veda’s parents agreed with the head of the house. The couple rekindled their lost spark and romance. On the other hand, Veda and Arjun were already pretty much in love. After hearing Granny’s notorious comments, Veda decided to take her relationship to a new level and eventually in the end she happily gets married to Arjun.
