The story of Jubilee has two directors in it, Shrikanta Roy and the other, Jay Khanna. While Roy is an established director and has done various projects in Bollywood, Khanna is an aspiring director. Forsaking his earlier profession as a playwright in Pakistan due to partition, he has come to Mumbai with hopes of making his career there.
