The final ending of the series is sad, but at the same time, it is not completely unnatural or out of line. This ending was anticipated and inevitable for the show. The recent part started with both friends having some fallout between them (which is a bit unsettling), but by the end of it, their beautiful friendship gained its peak. Even if Tully knows that Kate does not have much time left with her, she does not let Kate understand her sadness. Instead, everybody around Kate wants her to feel life and live life to her fullest.
