Sweet Tooth Season 2 – Freedom Awaits For Gus And Other Hybrids!

General Abott’s hunt for the cure continues in Season 2. Aditya and his wife, Rani are now under his ambit, all hustle done is to impress the Group of Three. The Last Men standing on Earth who are yet not among the Sick are looking for a definite rescue. Over a prolonged period of nine years, the virus has become immensely strong, but Doomsday is not over yet. Finally, the very origin of the contagious virus H5G9 has been revealed to us. We will be traveling back in time, Gus is not among the ones who were created through the virus. All hybrids are of 8 or 9 years old, but Gus represents the Genetic Series Unit 1.

As the story moves forward, we will witness the cruel dictatorship of General Abbot, all men have been wiped off, and the ones who remain should work under his command. The Sick are quarantined while hybrids are kept behind the cells, to some extent both live the same life, the infected here await to die but the hybrids wish to live life again. It all comes down to that Essex City Zoo and thus we come across Aimee’s Preserve. This is her initiative to save the hybrids but we all know what has happened to her homeland and her kids.

The Last Men are ruling over her land, all hybrids are kept in the pump house and so is Gus. This is where our beloved deer boy will be meeting Dr Aditya Singh and thus begins another horrific journey for Gus. Most of the loopholes of Season 1 have been covered in Season 2. Most interestingly, we might finally be exposed to the outrageous side of Aditya, he is not what he looks like or should we just say that he got too much involved in his ultimate research task? Well, Sweet Tooth Season 2 was indeed filled with heart-warming scenes and crazy plot twists, and we still couldn’t get over the intimidating concept of the purple flowers. Keeping everything in view, Sweet Tooth Season 2 surely deserves a solid 8.5 from us.

Sweet Tooth Season 2 – Freedom Awaits For Gus And Other Hybrids!

General Abbot’s era has ended, thankfully with the help of the Air Lords, the duo was able to attack the Last Men. They are not saviors, but brutal murderers who capture the innocent hybrids. Aimee and Jepperd managed to rescue their kids back and thus leads them all to Yellowstone! Meanwhile, we will also see how the Animal Army will come along for the protection of the hybrids. But unfortunately, all of them will be wiped off by the Last Men. Given General Abbot’s attitude, he surely didn’t like losing control over the hybrids.

After all, this clearly meant that he lost Zhang’s support and investment. Project Evergreen shattered apart and so did Abbot’s relationship with his brother, Johnny. We were also heavily shocked to learn that Abbot killed his very own father. Again, how could we forget about the time when Jepperd, Gus, and Aimee fought bravely against the Last Men? Who could have thought that Abbot will be killed by Gus? That little deer boy is indeed extraordinary.

Did Rani Decide To Leave Aditya?

We come to the very last scene of Sweet Tooth Season 2 Episode 6, this is where they decide to separate or should we just say that this is the very moment where Rani gives up on Aditya? As the story proceeds forever, we will see a different side of Aditya. The research has made him mad. He is no longer doing it just to keep Rani alive, but this time he wants to finish Dr. Miller’s half-left experiment. When the Air Lords attacked the Zoo, the couple had a chance to run away from the Last Men but Dr Singh had different plans in mind.

Yes, he was able to invent the cure for once, he made it possible, but that was only one dose of the antigen! Things went upside down when Aditya couldn’t bring up more antigens for the cure of the virus and this is when Rani realized that Aditya has lost himself in these four walls of the laboratory. This was their moment to break out from the imprisonment of Abbot but Aditya decides to go back into the same pit hole. On the other hand, Rani was tired of running away from her own death and finally decides to leave Aditya behind in the Zoo and move ahead for a fresh dose of life.
