This is Us is an American tv drama that debuted on NBC on September 20, 2016, and continues to air today. They portray numerous distinct periods of families and lifestyles of two parents and three children in this series.
This is Us started as an 80-page movie script written by Dan Fogelman in the spring of 2015 while working for ABC Studios. The plot centred around the lifestyles of eight individuals who were later revealed to be octuplets, according to Fogelman, who admitted that the script had no clear path.
After signing an eight-figure agreement with 20th Century Fox Television, Fogelman decided to create a television series based on the characters in his original script, trimming a few characters and editing the script down to 45 pages before submitting it to the studio.
Despite excellent evaluations from both 20th Century Fox Television and Fox, the sibling business, there were doubts about the show’s ability to draw an audience, thus Fox sold it to NBC. On September 25, 2018, the third season premiered. NBC renewed the show for three more seasons in May 2019. On September 24, 2019, the fourth season premiered. On October 27, 2020, the fifth season premiere. On May 12, 2021, it was revealed that the sixth season of the show would be the last. On May 3, 2022, the production was completed.

“I don’t guess you would call your parents and sister from their massive political jobs and lives all around the country unless you’re certain the end is near,” Aptaker remarked. “Everyone appeared to have assembled to say their final goodbyes.” Thankfully, his co-showrunner went into greater detail about what viewers may expect in the last hour. “There could be some amazing cameos in it,” Berger suggested, “that people will find fulfilling and thrilling.” “If they don’t, they don’t like the show,” Aptaker continued.

This Is Us Season 6 Story
The sitcom revolves around Kevin, Kate, and Randall Pearson, as well as their parents, Jack and Rebecca Pearson. On Jack’s 36th birthday in 1980, Kevin, Kate, and Kyle were born prematurely, and their brother Kyle died six weeks later. The plot is set in the present, yet some flashbacks show the family’s history.
