It’s a load of guilt, a guilt of not doing enough. John saw his friends die in front of him, when he could not do anything at all. As days pass, these horrifying memories kept on haunting John. He grew desperate to find peace and get rid of these dreadful memories.

This was the exact time when John Colter met with an army veteran. During his visit to the Montana VA hospital, John met Ike Fletcher, who served in Vietnam. They were from different worlds, they had different traumas, but Fletcher had more experience. He wants to take John out with him for fly fishing. John got another friend when he met Lucy – although she was a librarian, she ran a rehabilitation facility with people who had PTSD. All three of them try their best to overcome their traumas and past guilts, together.
