The series from the very beginning revolves around a fraud who has been making money from the stock market initially but then started looting the money of common people, by making them invest in one of his schemes. Well, the story is of a man, his life story from a poor to rich man and then a fraud being arrested from his office one day, for making fraud the other people and his investors.

The series begins showing the arrest of Madoff, for 150 years in prison. And in the meantime, he is in jail, and all his life story flashes back in front of his eyes and audiences can see it on their screen. It’s the first episode where we are shown how Madoff started earning money by trading in Penny Stock. He made a lot of money and profits this day. On the 17th floor of Lipstick Building, was Maodd and his brother Peter’s office. 

This was the place from where they made money and fooled people around of returning money. He said he knew all of his competitors knew the fraud going on in the office and could sue him anytime he said. Following this, we see how Madoff’s relationship with his colleagues and investors, made him keep going with his business even after many threats in the town. Finally, when people started taking their money due to the crisis in America, his all frauds and scams came out and Madoff was arrested. Madoff’s lifetime imprisonment forced his elder son to hang from the pipe and his younger son died of lymphoma.
