Many movies have come up with fictinal stories of flight crashes and sometimes showing a sad end of all the dead passengers, while some ca;l off their movie showing the passengers rescued. However, there are very few movies where something real is shown. Out of these is the one that has made its way to Netflix. to witness the heart-warming story and to let people from all around the globe know, what happened that day with the people.
The movie that has caught our attention is “Society Of The Snow” which is taken from the same name book written by Pablo Vireci. The story neither in the book nor in the movie, is fictional, rather it is entirely real. Everything shown in the film has been faced by the people who are still alive after the crash. The crash was, however, scary but they were fortunate to be 16 alive out of 45 people in the aircraft. The journey, was full of freezing cold in the mountains of Andes, with no rescue team for three long months.

Real People From The Movie Society Of Snow
The new Netflix release Society of Snow is a real-life based film, which shows all the incidents, accidents, and journeys truly happening with those people who are cast in the series. The characters played by the known and some fresh actors are the real heroes of life. They all were rugby players, flying to Chile along with their families to play a match.
On 12th October 1972 when they were leaving for Chile from Uruguayan, the weather wasn’t moderate, and finally, on 13th October there was a news flash of the plane’s crash. The people shown in the movie are true, they were actually fighting death and life in that frigid cold in the middle of Andes Mountain. Everyone on the other side of the mountain felt they were dead, but still, 16 passengers were trying to come out into the normal world.

What Happened To Survivors Of Air Force Flight 571 Crash?
The Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571, was chosen to carry the Uruguay rugby team from Uruguay to Chile, along with their family members on board 5 crew members, and 40 passengers on the aircraft. On 12 October when the pilot found danger in the weather, they decided to stay in Argentina and fly back to Chile on the afternoon of 13th October. This was the day when the pilot lost control of the flight and it crashed into the snowy mountains of Andes.
From the crash only 33 out of 345 were alive and 12 were lying dead. The temperature was freezing their blood and made it impossible for them to reside, killing 5 that night and living behind 27. Now, as days passed the food they carried was finishing, and now as orated by one of the survivors of the crash, Roberto Canessa, they decided to feed on the dead bodies of their fellow passengers. This was tough but they had no other choice but to keep themselves alive until they were rescued.
How & When Were They Rescued?
Only 27 of 45 were alive and still no rescue came from the government. As per the news they heard from a radio on their plane, the government sent the rescue for the team players but due to immense white snow covering these little creatures and the big aircraft, they could not find one and claimed that all were dead. After surviving the freezing cold of days and nights only 19 embers were left alone.
Two and a half months had already passed when three of the 19 members decided to climb the snowy mountains and get some help from the civilization. They reached out to a man in the horse and after days of his try, an aircraft finally reached out to these 16 survivors of the snow mountain and rescued them bringing them back to their families and friends.
