The first season of this show revolves around a chef called Ella, who has high hopes and a lot of dreams. Currently, she is a Sous Chef who is working hard to earn her place in the top tiers. Ella works at a popular food place called Hains Restaurant, which is an upscale food joint. The life of Hains Restaurant is however, a chef with iron determination. Chef Chico is the reason why Hains Restaurant is gaining popularity as days are passing. He is a hardworking chef who takes his job very seriously and is meticulous about everything.
There are other chefs who work under Chico but somehow Ella gets a bit closer to him with time. If you have watched Replacing Chef Chico Season 1, you know how surprising it was to see Chico and Ella engaging in an affair suddenly. It is not one of those slow rolling romantic dramas that slowly builds up a romantic story with each episode. Ella’s journey is not easy at all – she has to survive her frustrations, she must overcome from insults of Veteran Chef Carlon. Otherwise, she would not be able to save her favourite Hains Restaurant from closing down.
