Plot Of The Series

Horimiya: The Missing Pieces, is a story of a cute friendship between the two opposite school-going children. Kyouko Hori is a girl who is silent and simple and loves being indulged in her activities only. She lived with her younger siblings and parents, but due to their jobs, they lived most of the time, out of the home. Due to this Hori was indulged in taking care of her younger siblings, her own studies, and household chores. These tasks never left her life and so she never got time to interact with other people or have social relations.

While Izumi Miyamura was a totally opposite boy from Hori. He had long hair, piercings, tattoos, and shy eyes. He was never indulged in studies and only social interactions. He wore glasses and due to his physical appearance, he was called an Otaku. They were entirely different from each other. After a few days of school, they never talked to each other and were never seen together.

But one same day, Hori and Miya were seen interacting, they met by fates but stayed together by their choices. They both had different personalities which excited them to know about each other. They both felt though, that their looks, their personalities, and attitudes were different, but still, they wished to be together, help each other in their school chores, and accompany each other outside the school gate.
