Now Carla and her sister-in-law reached there on Thanksgiving day, 22 November 2018. As per her family, Carla was a social media addict and she was active on social media. She posted pictures of herself and April on her social media handle. There were pictures of surfing, shopping, and travelling.
Traveling was her passion according to her brother. She dreamt of travelling the whole world. Now their date of return was on 27 November 2018 but Carla wanted to celebrate her birthday there. This made her extend her date of return. But April went on that day itself and Carla dropped her to the airport. She was in contact with her family till 9 PM. But when she didn’t come online and missed her flight, her family members knew something was fishy. After this they reported her to be missing. After the investigation, her half-naked body was found near the hostel. She was wrapped in plastic with many knife cuts and a broken neck.
Who Is The Killer?
According to the investigation, she was sexually assaulted and murdered in the room. Then her body was thrown into the woods wrapped in plastic. Her body had knife cuts all around and her jaw was also dislocated. Then the authorities started the investigation by interviewing her family members. According to this investigation, the Uber driver in which she came to her hotel offered her a ride in the city.
She accepted the offer and went for the ride. Then she came to her hotel and was connected with her family members. After this, she went missing and then local police went to her hostel room. They found her body and immediately arrested Bismarck for the crime. He was an illegal immigrant from Nicaragua and was living next door. This man claimed that Carla was picked up in the morning and then the police arrested him on the charges of second-degree murder.
