Season 1 of the series “The Chosen One” revolves around a 12-year-old boy in California, named Jodie who finds himself embraced with the godly power as that of Jesus Christ. When he finds it to be true his only wish is to impress his crush by doing impossible things possible.
But Jodie gets confused when he is said by people to help the needy and poor by using his godly powers. This time Jodie gets confused about how should he deal with the situation and whether should he work to improve his life and fulfill his dreams or to help the poor people.
The series directed by Everado Gout is based on a fantasy novel name American Jesus co-written by Mark Millar and Peter Gross. the novel series even follows the ups and downs faced by Jodie in his life as soon as he discovers to have earthly power like Jesus Christ, to raise a dead, change the water to win, and make the creepers and crawlers walk in their legs.
This new evolution in him brings him advantages but at the same time makes him go through many inner conflicts in himself to either impress the girl he likes or to help the poor find their needs. As far as we know, this is about the Season 1 plot, while the next season is yet not renewed its plot can’t be predicted.
