Well with the launch of the film’s trailer, fans have been asking whether it is some real-life-based film. but the film isn’t based on any real-life incident but is a fictional story representing the commonness of the LGBTQ+ community and their acceptance in society.

The film so far is adapted from a novel written by Casey McQuiston in the year 2019 and includes the same characters with a bit changes in the plot and directed by the famous Matthew Lopez and was announced to be making a feature film in the novel on the same year it was published.

What Is The Film About

The film begins with Alex, the son of the United States’ first female prime minister attending a wedding with his friend to see the grandson of the king, Henry coming down the aisle. They were both in an awkward situation where they started hating each other. In order to compensate in the media, they both were asked to interview as friends and later they cleared the misunderstanding and began being friends. 

The two again met at a dinner party on New Year’s Eve at Alex’s house, where Alex and Henry decided to be friends benefits with each other. Their friendship was known to only their people whom they trusted as dating same-gender people and from the royal families would have affected their images and it was the time for the election. The people involved Beatrice Bea, sister of Henry, Nora, and Percy, mutual friends of Laex and Henry, Amy, the secret service of the white house, are the only people who knew about Alex and Henrey’s love relationship or friends with benefits relation.

One morning while they were caught in the place they were forced to cut off from each other, but the two when saw people supporting them came out of Buckingham Palace to tell everyone they are a couple. On the day of the election when they both were happy together they got good news of Ellen won the election made the two celebrate together in their place again. And this was the point where their love won against all the allegations from the society with the supoort of their family and people of the town.
