There she had a salad and then she had a severe stomach ache. After her parents found out about it, they became very tense about it. But they didn’t think that it would be a severe issue. So they were about to go on a trip which was scheduled. But little did they know that this wasn’t going to happen.
When Stephanie was brought under the diagnosis of local doctors, they said that it was just a case of food poisoning. She was given medications for food poisoning but her condition worsened. She lost her memory power failing to recognise her parents. Also, there was a swell in her brain and her kidneys stopped functioning.

After all these events doctors suggested Stephanie’s parents make arrangements for her evacuation. That was also not easy, her father tried to find people who would airlift her. But after several attempts, he finally found the person who could airlift her.
Now she was taken to St. Luke’s hospital where the doctors investigated her and found that she had Shiga toxin in her blood. This toxin is produced by E. Coli.
