After they arrested Chris McAmis confessed that he murdered Lynsie. Since she was not listening to him, Chris killed Lynsie and buried her into the ground.
But where is he now? Well, after the arrest on 27th October 2010, Chris was put to trial. Although he tried to get away with what he did through a guilty plea, his efforts went in vain. He avoided the death sentence successfully but did not succeed in staying away from behind the bars. Chris McAmis was sentenced to 15 years for murdering Lynsie. Right now, he is incarcerated in the Soledad State Prison. Chris will probably have his parole later in 2023. Lynsie was spending the night at his apartment and Chris revealed that he wanted to be physical with her. He wanted to kiss Lynsie but She threw him away by using her elbow. Lynsie and Chris were actually friends. After a year of completion, Lynsie disappeared completely since 16th February 2001. Her friends claimed that they saw her last with Chris, and yeah, they were right. When the authorities were questioning Chris, he kept on denying his involvement. According to Chirs, he left Lynsie near her house on 17th February. He did not how Lynsie went missing.
Chris McAmis was a 32-year-old male. He probably had some family issues and he definitely had a troubled childhood. Chris was emotionally abused daily basis. He definitely suffered some traumas and people knew about his dark sides. Before his infamous entanglement with Lynsie, He used to date Heather Rockwell. There were instances where Chris verbally abused Heather and threw his stuff across the room and lawns. Apart from this, he got himself into trouble for making fake email accounts and harassing one of his exes. He had a restraining order against him for being so aggressive and troublesome.
Although he kept on hiding facts and presented himself as the innocent one, the detectives were soon able to reveal the real face of Chris McAmis. He murdered Lynsie just because he was not letting him to be physical with her. After strangling her and killing her, Chris took the body to a construction site in Santa Clarita. Chris buried Lynsie’s body 4 feet deep into the ground in order to remove all evidences of his crime. Right now, Chris Amis is behind the bars in Soledad State Prison.
