Now for all those who have watched the series, we know that you have got a lot of confusion at the end of the first season of the show, and that is mainly because of the fact that out of nowhere so many truths get uncovered and the actual culprit turns out to be someone whom we never expected to be related to the crime.

A young girl who had to leave her father’s house, after her parents got divorced along with her sister and mother because of a fire which was allegedly caused by her mother, was actually not the truth that happened in reality. It was her stepmother according to her, who caused the fire to cut them off from her path and gain all the money and fam,e they had, and now she is back with a  new identity to uncover the entire truth and teach a lesson to everyone who had mistreated her.

Following this as we were earlier talking about the ending of the show,m many people out there have been very confused about what is going on because, after so many episodes and so many turn of events, people are losing track of what actually happened and how things got messier with every passing episode. At some [point we also lost track of who is the mastermind, and who is trying to trick whom, which creates more of a mess. Though no worries for all the audience who are not able to understand the ending of the show, we have summarised it and explained it in a much simple way

Burn The House Down Ending Explained

What Happened At The End Of Burn The House Down Season 1

For all those who have watched the series, a brief stage where we lie currently is that Mr. Mitarai is now very well aware of the existence of her daughter Yuzu who is currently trying her level best of helping her sister Anzu in bringing back some solid proof or evidence from the family of Mitarais so that she can finally prove that her mother is absolutely innocent and it is Mrs Mitarai who had caused the fire 13 years back.

However, as she tries to do her level best, we see Makiko also trying to have the upper hand, and manipulating her husband into believing that she was in no way related to the fire and it was just a misunderstanding that ended up framing her as the real culprit. Seeing that Yuzu tried the wrong person, she again broke down and she also couldn’t believe herself because Makiko’s story somewhere had a lot of truth in it.

Now following this we find out that as the relationship between Shinji and Yuzu, has been degrading over time, we see that the relationship between Anzu and Kiichi has developed more and more over time and though Yuzu ended up blowing her true nature in front of the family, she somehow managed to keep Anzu and thus Anzu went on working as the private secretary of Makiko san which ended up opening new doors for her to find more evidence against her.

Finally, we see that Kiichi brings them to a concrete truth where an old laptop is used to reach a person which used to be the personal blog of Makiko san back then ad she even did a fan meeting on the day of the fire, 13 years back which according to our protagonists could be a lot of help because then they would be able to prove that the cardigan that she had already destroyed which belonged to her mother and was the only right proof, actually was stolen by her from their mother.

So, the tracing began and finally the admin of the group was found, all the evidence was put in proper position and the real truth came in front of everyone that she was the one who was wearing that cardigan that day, however, things get messier as the end approaches. We see that Makiko was actually not the one who caused the fire, she may be happy because of the fire but she went back that day to keep back everything that she has stolen from the Mitarai family and that was mainly because of her trial of imitating their mother’s life was slowly falling off.

Following this we see Kiichi being dragged into the matter because when Mr Mitarai after knowing all of this complained to the police, the police traced back and found out that Kiichi had got some hands in the fire but soon that was also found out to be completely vague as he was the one who understood it first regarding the real culprit.

Finally, we find out that Shinji is the real culprit because he went to Satsuki Mitarai’s house to find an escape from his daily life like he often used to do, but this time it was an unfortunate day and while he sneaked into the kitchen, he somehow ended up tripping and keeping the gas stove on, which in turn created all the mess and the end to the series comes to us.
