The reality tv drama, The Mama June, has certainly been a spot for controversies to bloom. Be it Mama June Shannon and the spicy fights between her and her partner–now ex-boyfriend–Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson or Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson’s heartfelt confessions, the series has always–or most of the time?–managed to hook the viewers with a new scenario. Flash backwards to an instance when Honey Boo Boo’s parents, Mama June and Sugar Bear were raising her and her three half-siblings. Their relationship dynamics were interesting, to say the least, and yet, the couple got along for a while. They nourished Mama June’s three children alongside Alana but couldn’t manage to nurture their relationship. The cause for their break-up was vague but the fingers pointed to Sugar Bear’s infidelity. It was obvious Shannon couldn’t stay with someone who cheated on her but her claims died down when Mike announced his relationship with Jennifer.
In 2016, Bear and Lamb–no pun intended–tied the knot officially before the latter premiered on Mama June: From Not to Hot reunion. The spin-off didn’t have to harbour the animosity between Mama June and Jennifer to an extent at least. However, Mama June did tell Jennifer to watch out for “the moment he starts mistreating you, too”.
And it happened sooner than Mama June could have predicted. In December 2021, Jennifer took it to Otakukart to announce her divorce from Sugar Bear. Their relationship was over long back then though. When Jennifer accused Sugar Bear of cheating on her with Mama June in the Mama June series, it was the final nail in the coffin. Though Sugar Bear tried denying the accusations again, nothing could save their relationship. It seems like the two of them just weren’t compatible because according to Jennifer, they tried their best to salvage their relationship.

Jennifer Lamb Has Now Found Her Special Someone
After her divorce, the quirky Jennifer typed out an elaborate post asking her fans to just let her be. It was deduced from that post that Lamb was quite heartbroken over her divorce and would need a while to overcome that. In reality, that didn’t happen. In late June 2022, Jennifer announced that she had met Greg who is “a great guy” and the two are in a committed relationship.
Now, it has been a year and the couple seems to be still together. Though Jennifer and Greg are lying low, there’s been no updates other than that they are committed.
Sugar Bear Has Moved On From His Divorce From Jennifer
Somewhere along raising a child with his girlfriend, Shannon, to moving on with Jennifer, then divorcing her and moving on again, Sugar Bear has established a sort of trend. It took him less than a year, almost six months, to move on from his long-time girlfriend and his daughter’s mother, Mama June Shallon. Following the trend, Mike took less than half a year to get over Jennifer.
Four months after his divorce, a month before Jennifer’s special announcement, Mike announced his relationship with Georgia Heather. His new girlfriend is a nurse working for a non-profit hospital and a mother-to-one. It is rumoured that Georgia and Mike met at the hospital when he was almost diagnosed with mouth cancer. However, the two of them, similar to Jennifer and Greg, are lying low for a while.
