Insatiable Season 3 Release Date

As the second season of the show debuted on Netflix on October 11th, 2019, fans were hoping to hear about season 3 around the end of November.

Finally, the streaming service Netflix announced in February 2022 that Insatiable, which had run for two seasons, had been cancelled. This means that the show will not be renewed for a third season, which is incredibly disappointing news for fans who were eagerly awaiting the show. Therefore, it cannot be assumed that Insatiable Season 3 will be released on a certain date.

Insatiable Season 3 Storyline

The television series Insatiable tells the story of high school student Patty Bladell, who is no different from us. But behind that happy face, she was subjected to heavy bullying by her schoolmates. Her being a little overweight became the reason for facing such humiliation. The show is highly criticized for bringing up this issue on screen.

After undergoing an intense diet in order to become a thin and gorgeous girl, Patty transforms into a thin and pretty woman, just like the one she wanted to be, the one who used to get all the attention of boys from high school, the one which made her the talk of the town!

In the meantime, she meets Bob who turns out to be a beauty pageant coach. He sees Patty’s potential and starts a mission to transform her in order to win a pageant after a public disgrace forces Bob to put an end to his practice. He unleashes his incredible talent and starts a mission to change Patty’s life.

Insatiable Season 3: Cancellation

No doubt because the show is a dark- comedy and based on the life of a young high school girl, the show received enormous love and attention amongst a huge lot of youngsters. However, the first loophole became the reason for the dropping of TRP.

The crucial and sensitive topics of body- shaming and peer pressure were involved full-fledged throughout the seasons. This resulted in creating a wrong impression on the viewers and the community as body positivity is a big measure taking place on today’s date.

The dropping TRP resulted in Netflix changing its mind and throwing the series out of its reach.

Insatiable: Review

Despite the fact that Insatiable has received very dubious reviews from critics in the second season of the series, the series engages in conversation about some important topics

While the series does have some interesting elements such as eating disorders, bullying issues and the LGBTQ+ community, there is still room for improvement in terms of the plot and characters.

The viewers had high expectations regarding the plot. However, it was a disappointing experience altogether.
